Beautifully kept site!

We had a most enjoyable six night stay on this site, along with our two grandsons. What an immaculate site this is. The floral displays in the entrance are lovely, and the site, games room, toilets etc. are kept in a pristine condition by the very friendly, helpful and hard working Wardens. They are a credit to the Club. On our first ever visit to the area they were prepared to spend time to ensure we got the most from our visit. The site had a lovely atmosphere, and although an oasis in an industrial area, there were many things to see and do. Our grandsons loved the Air Trail, the Barrage and it's cafe, the TeesTransporter Bridge, and also the vast Retail Park on the doorstep! We had a trip out to the pleasant coastal resort of Saltburn, and will need to make a return visit for them to climb Roseberry Topping

Enjoyable stay

Had 4 day stay, the revamp is excellent, the floral displays all over the site are a credit to the staff, as with the overall up keep of the site. It is a shoppers paradise, shame the beefeater pub so expensive. The only gripe we have as with all sites we go on why oh why do members arrived nearly 45mins before the said arrival time 12 noon, nearly every car has a sat nav which tells you how long journey is goin to be, pull in somewhere and wait, the wardens have the jobs to do to make the site and toilets ready for your arrival. Let them get on with them without agro and been disturbed.

What a difference

I store my caravan at Whitewater and have stayed on the site many times. It is a couple of months since I was last there (only to take out my van for a holiday on the south coast) and I went back to the compound today to put something in the caravan. I felt I just had to put my comments on record. The site is looking really beautiful - the flower baskets and displays are wonderful! The whole site looks so welcoming and well kept.It is a great credit to the wardens who clearly take such a pride in the site. They are also always very friendly and helpful - well done to everyone associated with Whitewater. One tiny niggle - weeds in the compound are beginning to reach waist height in places, however I do appreciate it is difficult to keep on top of everything there is to do on a busy site and the main pitching area must clearly be the priority. Once again, well done to all the staff and keep up the great work.

Great site

Used this site as a stop over whilst travelling south. Great location. Near an asda. Near a shopping centre. Town was walkable. Interesting water park. Beef eater pub round the corner. Yet...so quiet! Cracking toilets and showers. You can even watch seals in the river! Park run starts from the water, park on a Saturday morning for those joggers! Brilliant.

lovely site and great location

Just spent 4 days at this site,it was our first visit there, great staff. The site is lovely and clean and the toilets are superb. The area is great for getting out and about to various areas,. Asda round the back and it is only a 5 minute walk there. It is also a nice walk into Stockton along the river and will definitely be going back there

Great site with pristine facilities.

My husband and I stayed at this site last week ( 19th June) for 2 nights with our 2 dogs. The toilet and shower blocks were absolutely pristine, actually I've stayed on many 5 star sites and non have been cleaner than this site. The flowers, in pots, decorating the entrance were very welcoming as was the attitude of the staff. The location of the site for doggy walks was excellent. Also, the Beefeater Restaurant next to the site with its outdoor seating was ideal to have a very good steak along with a very relaxing drink.

Wedding route

We stopped here, on our Gretna Green wedding route. Lovely place, clean, friendly and scenic. Great play area for Abbey. The cleanest and best presented site, we have ever seen.

excellent site a must stay to find out how good it is

stayed for 4 days 20th may and the weather couldn't have been better with walks down by the Tees Barrage and the river tees into Stockton-on-tees about half of an hour on a gentle walk. the site was excellent and clean with the warden's and helpers couldn't do enough to help you if needed with pitching up or and questions as to where places where . even helped us with the bus timetables to Darlington so we could find the Steam Museum that was a great time there .there also is a fish 'n' chip van comes on site every Friday between 4.30 pm until 6.30 pm and a Beefeater across the road at the premier inn nearby. shower block and other facilities were excellent and so clean this site is a credit to the wardens and to the club . will we come back again oh !!! YES we will and tell anyone we know about the site. thank you for a very peaceful stay . Rochdale , Lancashire
