My husband and I stayed at this site last week ( 19th June) for 2 nights with our 2 dogs. The toilet and shower blocks were absolutely pristine, actually I've stayed on many 5 star sites and non have been cleaner than this site. The flowers, in pots, decorating the entrance were very welcoming as was the attitude of the staff.
The location of the site for doggy walks was excellent. Also, the Beefeater Restaurant next to the site with its outdoor seating was ideal to have a very good steak along with a very relaxing drink.
Wonderful site
Wardens friendly and keep site & facilities spotlessly clean
Stayed for 7 nights over spring bank week with a 3 night visit to Old Hartley in between, 4 nights on a grass pitch followed by 3 nights on a full serviced pitch
30 minute walk into Stockton along the Tees Barrage footpaths
Tees Retail park 10 minute walk with plenty of shops, eating places
Redcar worth a visit for a stroll along the sea front with shops just behind coast road
We stopped here, on our Gretna Green wedding route.
Lovely place, clean, friendly and scenic.
Great play area for Abbey.
The cleanest and best presented site, we have ever seen.
stayed for 4 days 20th may and the weather couldn't have been better
with walks down by the Tees Barrage and the river tees into Stockton-on-tees about half of an hour on a gentle walk.
the site was excellent and clean with the warden's and helpers couldn't do enough to help you if needed with pitching up or and questions as to where places where
. even helped us with the bus timetables to Darlington so we could find the Steam Museum that was a great time there .there also is a fish 'n' chip van comes on site every Friday between 4.30 pm until 6.30 pm and a Beefeater across the road at the premier inn nearby.
shower block and other facilities were excellent and so clean this site is a credit to the wardens and to the club .
will we come back again oh !!! YES we will and tell anyone we know about the site.
thank you for a very peaceful stay .

Been a regular for many years have seen wardens come and go. Top marks to Andy and June for professionalism and friendliness.I have had problems with my mobility ie hip replacements. they have helped myself and my wife on many occasions and have bent over backwards to help us out.
We used this site regularly before the upgrade but this was the first time back since then. The site appears to have changed very little but the narrow entrance gate has been improved and the site is now largely hard standing which have been incorporated without problem. The site is flat and typical club layout. The site is grassy and the pitches well spread out and not regimented. There is decent play area and large toilet block. For food there are two large supermarkets nearby. Well worth a visit.
We stayed at the Whitewater site for only one night but we will definetly return. It is a well laid out site with good , well spaced pitches. The toilet block has excellent facilities , including a games room. The facilities were scrupulously clean. There were many families on site taking advantage of the nearby canoeing and sporting ventures.
We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter Holidays, and although the site was full it did not feel that way. The faculties were spotless as you always find at Caravan Club sites. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this site to others even for a quick stopover or for a longer holiday.
