Third visit here

Third time visiting this site since December last year. We find it a good location, easy to find. Very clean with good facilities. 5 minute walk from Tees Barrage White Water Centre where there is activities for all ages. Onsite there is a small play park for children and a Pool Room for older kids & adults. There is a Beefeater pub at the site entrance which is easy for a drink or if you don't fancy cooking! Over all it is a good site which is in a convenient location for us to 'up and off' for weekends.

Immaculate CMC site with Lovely Wardens

Couldn't fault this site, lovely and clean, well run, wardens friendly, lock up for bikes, nice little games room, gorgeous showers and spacious pitches/ facilities. Very peaceful.....Short walk to supermarket and to Tees Barage and retail park. Would recommend and look forward to our next stay. Thankyou White Water Park.

2017 back after a long absence

Think most have it has already been said, good facilities good standard and close to a number of great amenities. Most of the pitches are now hardstanding/gravel this has an upside in inclement weather but also the one downside, it's not easy to get the awning pegged out. Will be back..

1st visit to this park this year, it has everything we were expecting, Premier Inn next door, play park for the kids with a indoor games room, Asda store within 3 minutes walk, very clean, very quiet and with easy acess to and off the site. We will sure to be making a few more visits this year.

Good site but could have been great

Returned from a weeks trip last week to this site and stayed on a serviced pitch Was a lovely well kept site with generous sized pitches great location as nearby numerous shopping and eating places including teeside retail park 5 minute drive from the site. As for walking our dogs I found the paths around the whitewater course and paths along the river and around the tees barrage were ideal with plenty of dog bins and great views The only real negatives for me are that you need a key for everything I.e you need key for toilet block a key for laundry room, games room etc and you only get one set of keys so only one person could use at a time what's wrong with code locks? The other negative from our point of view was that with a 10 and a 12 year old the play area was very much for younger kids and the games room was disappointing as it had a pool table and a few tables and chairs and that was all saw no sign of any actual cues for the pool table so I assume these were obtained from the reception which isn't always open especially in evenings The negatives above aside this is a very nice site in an ideal location if you want shops and indoor play areas etc nearby

FIRST OUTING OF 2017

Very friendly welcome on a lovely well kept site. Shame the wardens couldn't do anything with the weather but we will be back in the summer. Thanks for a nice relaxing weekend.

White Water wonder

Can't rate this site highly enough. Brilliant sized pitches, great location, wonderfully helpful wardens. We stayed for two weekends one after the other and are booked to go back again in four weeks time. As motorhomers, our legs are our other mode of transport. There are beautiful walk either side of the river and in both directions, our dogs appreciate the freedom of being off the lead and safe. A short walk, 15 min from the site, you can cross the bridge and be in the town centre. Walk or drive to Teeside retail park for Morrisons (fuel is the lowest priced here too)and all the major retailers. Lots of eaters too, and a cinema. A short stroll, turning left when you leave the site, passed the nature reserve and you are at Asda. You can watch the canoeists on the white water course, quite a spectacle. When we left, we'd forgotten our steps, a quick call to the warden and he picked them up and has kept them till our next visit. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you are always greeted with a smile and a chat. The Beefeater, just outside the gates of the site, serves a decent meal and reasonably priced too. Lots of lovely coastal places to visit Whitby is my favourite, beautifully photographic houses and boats and a walk up the hill to admire the views is a must. Have fun and enjoy your stay

Great first time experience

This was our first caravan trip, and in January as well! Booking was simple, greeting on arrival warm and friendly, advice and assistance freely given on request, site immaculate, local amenities excellent, as the Terminator said "I'll be back".
