Just back from a nice weekend away. On arrival Site Wardens were very helpful indeed. Selected our pitch which was level, with lots of space to spread out a little. Yes its a big site but who cares when its in such a fantastic location.
The only down size is the toilet block and washing up facilities. Toilet block even though quite modern and clean could do with some work on it .
Washing Up facility only 3 sinks very very busy when site is full ...also needs updating.
Excellent Dog Walks ... and owners that pick up after their Dog.
TV reception Very Good. via Site Booster
Some very nice villages nearby.
Easy to get to from Skipton.
Have booked again for September. Could say this is our favorite site to date.
Fantastic first trip away
A very big thank you for a great long weekend. Our first motorhome and first trip away. The team were very helpful and made our trip. Wharfedale site is great, perfect with a great onsite pub and spa at Long Ashes. The area is stunning with Grassington a beautiful village to visit. The tandem did great service on the Yorkshire hills. Can't wait to visit again.
Good relaxing site
This is a site we visit every year and always enjoy it. There is plenty to do, walking, visiting the various lovely towns nearby and just maybe sitting and relaxing on site. This year we came home a day early as the weather was quite wet and we felt we could sit at home in the rain not in the caravan. Site is good but the washroom and toilet facilities are rather tired and in need of a face lift! They are however kept very clean. There were no fresh farm eggs for sale in the office this year and no comical caravan Christmas cards either - sadly.

Clean, quiet site in execellent location
This is a lovely clean, quiet site in Threshfield just outside Grassington. The toilets were always spotlessly clean. Nice welcome from the lady warden on arrival. Great location for walking. We took bus up to Kettlewell and walked back. Lots of walks available from the site/Grassington. Grassington is a lovely village with all the necessary shops required. Butcher has some very nice items just ready to cook. Overall a lovely relaxing week away. Just what we needed.

Tut, tut, tut, and a disapprving scowl
A clean and well kept site but with attitude: when selecting our pitches (2 adjacent) my wife dared to walk through the gap in the fence across a vacant pitch to view the parallel roadway's offering. The "tutting" came from a fellow camper! (Perhaps he thought he'd paid for the entire row). One member of staff in particular and a number of prohibition notices added to the restrictive atmosphere but once safely in our caravan we enjoyed the peace a quiet of this site. Other reviewers comment on being overlooked which was an issue in the centre rows. The only other thing which we commented upon (and we realise you can't have a well kept sight without maintenance) was the very noisy tractors/strimmers/trimmers for which the workers wore ear defenders, but which we campers had to put up with. It would be thoughtful if, instead of multiple ear defender sets, they procured quieter machinery.

Very peaceful
Just returned from a 2 week stay at Wharfedale, lovely location with an easy walk into Grassington, which is full of pubs and tea-rooms, all dog-friendly. Excellent dog walk on site, with lovely views across the dales and up to the hills. Lots of trees and shrubs on site, all well maintained despite the torrential rain we had almost daily. Very friendly and helpful wardens, reception sells delicious sausages and bacon from the local butcher. Lots of lovely bird song, even at night, no traffic noise at all. Perfect for hill walking, but we also enjoyed Skipton with its 4 times a week street market, and good selection of High Street stores. Only downside we experienced was the few shower cubicles for the number of pitches, and we felt they were in need of an update. A plastic stool in the privacy cubicles would have been an asset, as would have been a full length mirror in the Ladies. Very very clean though.
Good site can't wait to go back
Terrific site.wardens were extremely friendly and helpful.we were on a hard standing pitch which required no levelling.there is a pub in the nearby static park which serves food if you do not wish to cook. You can also get a bus from the static park into Grassington which also connects with a bus into Skipton.
Highly recommend this site.
Too close for comfort or privacy
Beautiful part of Yorkshire with easy access to site.
Man at reception was surly and unhelpful.
Site very crowded with vans very close together. Managed to get one of the few empty pitches. This was a grass pitch, away from the crowd, which was quite sloping and took about five caravans. After four days of showers, removing the caravan using the motor mover was difficult.
Toilet block was satisfactory and dog walks were excellent.
Due to the overcrowding we cannot recommend this site.

Lovely and quiet
Very lovely site.Away from roads nice and quiet except got the sheep baaaaing and the birdsong.A lovely idillic site away from th hustle and bustle but a short car ride (or walk) from the lovely village of Grassington or further afield to to Skipton with its lovely castle and canal boats .
Lovely quiet site
Lovely site, well off the road and very quiet. The wardens were very friendly and welcoming. We only stayed two nights but will be back again soon. The spot we chose was lovely and level and we were set up in minutes. The only slight problem we had was with the wifi but I think we were just in a bad spot far away from the router. Next time will park a little nearer the loos and the wifi access.
