Very good location well kept friendly helpful staff what more could you want . We caught the tail end of the war time reenactment weekend some lovely costumes and uniforms Never seen so many generals and medals and I did 27 years in the army but it was an excellent day. The location is lovely for walkers and sightseers you have Bolton abbey just on the doorstep Grassington and pately bridge a small ride away the facilities were spotless and like us if you are doggy people you have a nice little dog area inclosed we will certainly be returning
Short break
The welcome on arrival was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We had pitch no. 1 which was great, plenty of space, lots of wildlife, woodpecker picking berries off the tree above our heads as we were sat outside of our van. Facilities on site excellent, all within close distance. The site is very well laid out. Within walking distance to Grassington and if you just want an alcoholic drink/meal there is a pub only 5 minutes walk away.
Lovely site
We recently stayed for two nights. The site has fantastic walking direct from the site and the nearby village of Grassington is lovely. There are dog walks directly on site which are also brilliant, you can go as far or as little as you please. The on site shop is fantastic stocking yummy cream teas and much much more! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The site has a lovely pub and spa within 5-10 minutes walk direct from the site. The only possible room for improvement would be the shower block. The shower block was nice and clean but showers needed more power.
A tour of the Dales
We couldn't decide where for our little trip to the Dales so booked a 3 night tour instead staying at each of the clubs Dales sites. This was our first stop.... As others have said the toilets are older than elsewhere although all the sites toilet blocks we visited last weekend were of a similar age. However, they were clean as was the site itself. Grassington is a lovely spot and we visited Malham Cove before arriving on site. Perhaps out least favourite site of the three.
Old tired toilet block
This is a lovely quiet site with really great staff who I don't doubt so their best but with all the money the club makes why don't you reinvest some into upgrading the shower and toilet block at this site which is long overdue. It cannot be easy trying to keep them clean given their aging state.
Caravan stay
We stayed over the first weekend of September enduring a horrible wet day on the Saturday. Despite this we enjoyed our stay, the site was busy but quiet with helpful staff on hand. Linton, Grassington and Burnsall are with easy walking distance thus further use of the car was not required. There are lots of pubs and cafes to visit in the vicinity. One disappointed being the internet signal, after signing up for annual access the signal speed was almost zero

Had a great stay, despite the rain!
We stayed Saturday 3/9/16 just for one night. Staff were obviously very busy but gave us a warm welcome, listened to our request's, gave us lots of help, advice and directions which was fantastic as we are new to the camper van world. Thanks again!

Wonderful Yorkshire!
A really nice site. You will enjoy the usual high standard of cleanliness and brilliant wardens. We were keen to enjoy Grassington. Just walk past pitch 101 and onto a footpath into Grassington takes about 20 minutes. If you can, take a walk along Wharfedale. On a sunny day this is close to perfect walking. Grassington is a must, independent shops, lots of coffee houses and pubs and really friendly locals! You are spoilt for choice in Yorkshire but this area must be one of the best for a wide variety of interests. Enjoy your stay!
Cyclist's heaven
Ideal site for anyone keen on cycling the mahoosive climbs this area offers. plenty to do in the area, lovely walk into Grassington for a pint or three. You'll need transport for any major 'stocking up'. Drying room very useful for wet kit. It was very busy whilst we were there and the kids play area was well used as it was school holidays. Site was well kept and toilet block/amenities all clean and perfectly serviceable. We will return......next time I'll have a compact chain set allowing me to attempt some of those hills.

Great Location
Great site for touring Yorkshire Dales whether you want good walking routes or to visit local attractions.
Good dog walking all around.
I agree with previous reviews toilet and shower could do with updating.
Having said that plenty of hot showers and didn't see to be over busy. One problem was the time the showers and toilet shut for cleaning seemed to be a bit early in the morning, quite a few people complaining.
The information booth was not very well stocked with local walks and info about surrounding areas to visit apart from the standard leaflet you found everywhere.
Staff were okay but not outstanding.
I would advise to do research into the area before
going.
Overall not a bad site but wardens could be more helpful and friendly.
