Stayed at this lovely site last weekend . Such a nice Halloween weekend. Grassington is such a nice place to visit  great walking and places to eat. However the clocks went back and the people opposite decided at 0730 to take there awning down and let there kids play on scooters. Lay in - no. They were not alone.

Pleasant autumn stay!

The two of us had a lovely stay at Wharfedale. The site is well-equipped, with very clean facilities, and is set in the middle of wonderful countryside in Wharfedale, with Grassington, Burnsall, Bolton Abbey and Skipton all within easy reach. We will come again!

Great site

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful. Skipton is a great place to visit. The site is very dark at night so take a torch.

Beautiful location

Wharfedale is a lovely Club site - friendly and hard working wardens and generally extremely well kept, with good facilities. The pub in the next-door static caravan site is very convenient. There was lots of wildlife around the site - we saw squirrels and peacocks actually on the site. Lovely scenery in the area. We will definitely return.

fine site !!!

stayed last weekend for 4 nights as I had some time off from work ,moved across the Pennines for a further few days ,just looked at some of the reviews and I must say some folk need to stop moaning and whinging about CC sites ,first of all treat the wardens with respect they are not beneath you so don't treat them like servants a friend had given me some flowers the day before I went away so took them with me and gave them to the warden when I left ,the shower block is not dated what does that term even mean ?? as for noise as I arrived on the Sunday must have missed it all so it was peace and quiet din't hear any noise from either pub ,this has long been a favourite site of mine as I went there in a previous life ,and the only reason I not visit it as often as I used to is because it's bind to get there from my part of Yorkshire !!!

Excellent Site

What a lovely place, plenty of walks to choose from and the local village of Grassington is a nice place to visit. The site is well looked after clean and tidy at any time of the day. I can't wait for it to open again after being updated because I will be back again

Lovely peaceful break

We stayed at the site for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Site peaceful and plenty of pitches to choose from. Fantastic walks for the dogs around the site, we walked for miles. Visited Grassington which is a quaint little village. Spent a day at Malham, walked the steps up past the cove and had a drink at the local pub. We went to the Gamekeepers pub adjacent to the site for pie and a pint night, it was fabulous and such good value for money. We met other caravanners there and had a lovely night. They even held a pub quiz and anyone could take part. No complaints about the showers or other facilites. All in all a lovely break

Good four Night Stay

It was a last minute decision to book here and we were pleased we did. The site is in a perfect location for exploring Grassington and surrounding areas and it is ideal for walking/dog walking from the site. Yes the toilet/shower block needs a refurb, but it was kept clean. The adjacent leisure/spa facilities are ideal if the weather turns bad. The site was reasonably quiet when we went which is one of the reasons we visit out of season but would have been very disappointed to have arrived and found a rally going on, this needs pointing out as happening when booking as previous reviewers have said.

Lovely site, perfect stay

This is a lovely site, peaceful, beautifully located and with excellent facilities. We don't agree with some recent reviewers. Ok the pub let off a few fireworks one evening but that lasted no more than 5 minutes, probably less. The shower and toilet block is fine - clean, spacious, plenty of hot water, and there is a very good indoor washing up area.. The staff are friendly and efficient. One detailed her favourite walk for us and we did it the next day with much enjoyment. We also did a few other good walks direct from the site. There weren't many empty pitches to choose from, it is true (a good sign of the site's popularity), but with  a good look round we found a very suitable one, and our friends, arriving late, managed to find one quite near us. Grassington is a very nice place to be near and we visited it several times, on foot and by vehicle. Top marks!

Lovely site, enjoyable stay

A lovely well kept site. The wardens are friendly and helpful. As we travel with our ageing dog, was nice to find enjoyable walks close to site that were suitable for him to plod round. Good cycle routes around Grassington and good walking routes. Linton falls is awesome, well worth a visit and only 45 minutes walk. The Devonshire Arms in Grassington serves good food at a reasonable price and the Gamekeepers Inn on the leisure site adjacent keeps a good stocked bar, the food is ok, but felt it was a little overpriced...just my opinion. Yes, as already mentioned the facilities are a little dated, but are kept immaculately clean. All in all, a site we will definitely return to.
