Ideal for a night stop.

We have stayed here on many occasions on our way to and from Scotland en route to the Channel ports/tunnel.It's very easy to walk into Warwick and find plenty of eating places.

Not just a stopover!

First stayed here last year for one night on our way south and we vowed to return. We visited whilst the work was being carried out on the racecourse and yes there was disruption and a little confusion about the entrance but in fairness there was little the wardens could do about it. (They phoned me prior to our arrival to inform us of this.) We were also there at the time of the beer festival and didnt find it a problem. The facilities are governed by the racecourse apparently so again not easy to change but they were kept spotless. My only criticism would be the 10.30 closure of them, a little early for some. Overall would return,  Warwick is lovely!

Warwick Racecourse

Nice well kept site, wardens are helpful and welcoming. Whilst appreciating the site is a club managed site, it needs to come into the21st century; the ladies facilities are inadequate, no wi.fi or TV plug-in for those requiring it, dish washing facilities inadequate. The site though, is very peaceful and in easy walking distance to Warwick.

Wonderful open spaces for walking the dog

This was a wonderful site and one of our favourites because of the open spaces. The only downside was the facilities which were a bit basic after Teesdale Barnard Castle but everything else made up for that and especially the greatly helpful wardens. Warwick town was interesting with a very good antique shop in which we spent quite some time. It was an easy walk to the town too, so it was great to get food from Marks and Sparks. Their Weatherspoons was better than our local one and served up an excellent and tasty steak which was hot and cooked well. In all a lovely site to round off our annual holiday. Thank you

Warwick Racecourse club site

We have just returned from a fees days spent at this lovely site . The pitches are spacious compared to many sites and the there is a lovely atmosphere  of peace and tranquillity here . Most of our fellow campers seemed to be retirees and everyone was very friendly . The walk into Warwick town centre just took about 5 minutes and the castle is close by . The wardens keep the place in tip top order . We shall be coming back to Warwick caravan club site many times in future !

Another nice weekend!

Thanks Alison and Andy. We really enjoyed our stay. The site is in a great location as it is in walking distance to the town and castle. I agree that the toilet block is due for a makeover though but they are always clean and tidy. There is no play area here so bear that in mind if you have young children. This is our fifth stay and always enjoy it.

Lovely site and well positioned

Alison and Andy do a great job in running this site. They are very friendly and helpful unlike most of the Caravan Club sites on our one month tour. We were here for just two days and it was a short stroll into Warwick which has a lovely town centre. There was also a great long walk to Hatton locks which was ideal for the dog. The only downers are nothing to do with Alison and Andy. Firstly the shower block although spotless really does need updating as many CC shower blocks do. Secondly do not book a hard standing unless you wish to have a pitch in the racecourse car park. We had booked a grass pitch which had a lovely location. Ideal for a short stay.

Great location

Our first visit to Warwick, it certainly won't be our last. The wardens are an absolute credit to themselves and the club, very friendly and always available to help. The site is on a flight path, so there is a bit of aircraft disturbance but nothing too excessive. The site is perfectly located for walking into Warwick, plenty of historic places to visit and a good number of restaurants and cafes for when you get peckish.
