Directions to site excellent. Lovely welcome by Warden. Ideally situated for the town shops and Castle.
This was our first racecourse site, and we will be using more in future.
Overnight stay
Lovely welcome, fitted us in at last minute, friendly wardens,
Thank you

Enjoyable stay
I recently had an enjoyable 3 nights at this site. The site was clean and wardens friendly and approachable. The groundworks being undertaken at the racecourse didn't disrupt my stay - there was some noise during the day but it didn't bother me. The site entrance was a bit muddy - there were boards down to drive on. Would like to return and explore more of the area.
Good site
We arrived at Warwick site in our hired "spaceship camper". Staff very nice and welcoming. Very convenient site to walk to town. Facilities good .
Would recommend this site.

Great Stay
My wife and I had a great week at Warwick .
on arrival the wardens Andy & Alison gave us a warm reception and showed us round the site so we could pick our pitch from the ones available. The site was well kept and the amenity block was spotless with everything working. The site is in a good position for touring round the area nothing too far away as were the town and shops. We shall return soon.
Lovely site
We had a friendly greeting when we arrived from the Wardens. The site was always clean and tidy. The only complaint was the hand dryers that need upgrading, which the wardens were aware of but The Jockey Club need to get on and replace them.
When we were packing up to leave, a unit arrived to book in at 9.30!! Give the wardens their due they told them they couldn't get in. This puts pressure on the wardens to get the cleaning and mowing done. This seems to still be a problem with people not adhering to the rules. The only downside to our visit was the drainage work on the racecourse which the wardens had had no prior knowledge, otherwise the site is very peaceful normally.

Great site
We had booked for one night but ended up staying for three. The wardens are so friendly and very helpful. Some people say it resembles a car park but we prefer hardstanding so no problem. The toilet block was always clean. It is an easy walk into Warwick which is a lovely town with plenty to see. It is also easy to walk to the canal and just a short drive to see the 21 locks at Hatton. We will be returning with our grandchildren. Although there isn't a playground there are walks round the racecourse, the castle and a large park in the town.
Lovely site
We stopped overnight at Warwick on our way South, but wished we'd booked for longer. Fantastic historic location, short walk into town and set in perfect surroundings for dog walking. We found 3 great dog friendly pubs nearby, The Dun Cow a short walk past the golf course, down by the canal, the Four Penny Hotel across the road (musicians played throughout the evening -Thursday) and lot's of free pub grub and a brilliant micro pub, The Old Post Office, serving ales straight from the barrel! There was also a Local small store, a fish and chip shop and Indian takeaway. We will definitely return for MUCH longer stay next time. Just a note - the surrounding race course is undergoing major work, so it was noisy with big diggers etc, but didn't affect us as we rarely stay on site much. Overall a lovely site.
Good for dog walking
We only stopped for one night on our way south. We had a very nice welcome and could choose our pitch from a selected few, but unfortunately chose the wrong one behind the main stand which masked our T.V. signal. But there are other pitches which are fine on this front on the outer edge. The dog walks around are great and of course it's very central for visiting lots of places in the area.
Nice to be back
Just spent a couple of days at the Warwick Site, so convenient just off the motorway. Nice to see the friendly wardens from last year back again keeping the site immaculate. Toilet block is a little dated but very clean - shame the ladies hand drier is so intermittent in whether it will work or not. (Last year every other visit it worked - this time it refused - how about a new one Caravan Club please!?) Lots to do here, or you can just have a walk around the racecourse. Sainsbury's, for a quick top up, is just a short walk along the racecourse. Just been told the gents hand drier is so slow it's not used - so can they have a new one there too in the interest of health and safety?
