motorhomes

With the ever increasing members owning motorhomes it would be practical to leave a number of pitches open to these members because unlike caravan members we tend to tour around different sites ,not book pitches for long periods. We have found it difficult to get pitches and speaking to other members with motorhomes they are experiencing similar problems

Nice site. Shame about rule breakers

Views from this site are outstanding if you can get on a decent pitch. Not all pitches have a clear view. Unfortunate that its a mad scramble to get a good pitch. We arrived on a Thursday and the only pitch suitable for my unit was at the rear corner on a muddy grass pitch. On complaining to warden was told that 23 pitches would be vacated the next day and suggested I search then. Did find a nice pitch but this was happening to folks all week long. Not good enough.

Fabulous Location

What a lovely position for a campsite. The views are just amazing. The pitches were spread out and we stayed on the field higher up on the site - if windy can be a challenge, but worth it for the wilder feel to being on the campsite. The facilities close by the higher field were Portacabin style showers and toilets, very clean, but not what you would expect from a Caravan Club site, maybe there are plans to build a new block. Although the facilities closer to entrance were certainly very good and worth the extra bit of a walk! The wardens were very friendly and full of local knowledge to help you organise your stay. I would certainly recommend this site. Walking to Tintagel and Boscastle truly great walks along the cliffs straight from the campsite!

A Site of Splendor

We arrived here for the very first time to this site to be greated by very friendly and informative staff. We were given the chance to select our pitch on foot then move to the pitch. The views are excellent, the walking is excellent, Tintagel was off to the left and Boscastle to the right via the coastpath, sustenance is available at both of them, as is fish and chip suppers on a Thursday and Sunday evening on site. All told a very good site and well recommended.

Fantastic views

Recently returned from Trewethett Farm. We had a very enjoyable week there. Fantastic views & facilities at the site. All the staff proved to be very friendly & helpful, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Cornwall with a central location, ideal for good sight seeing.

Stunning location

Access off the A39 can be a bit challenging, especially if visitors to the site don't abide by the earliest arrival time of 12 noon (and some don't!) Other than that we found the site to be one of the best we have stayed on and certainly the one with the best views. Everything was as you would expect; clean and appropriate facilities, large level pitches and pleasant, courteous and welcoming wardens. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest sites we have stayed on

We have just stayed here for a week and we had a cliff front position which was absolutely amazin with the view just stunning. The lady warden that checked us in and also out was so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are fantastic and also the male warden on the tractor cutting the grass was really friendly too wishing us a safe journey and taking the time to wave us goodbye. All in all a 5 star site with amazin views and we will 100% be back as soon as we can.

Worth the visit

Such a lovely location and the secluded beaches for children are outstanding. Cannot fault the site but beware of the strong winds, all of the wardens are A1 & they do try there best to look after you, only slight downside could do with a small purpose built toilet block for the top part of the site.

Outstanding.

Excellent site with immaculate first class facilities which are kept in immaculate order at all times. The Team of Wardens are very friendly, they conduct themselves professionally and exhibit a great deal of pride in this beautiful club site.  Plan your journey carefully and adhere to club directions.

Excellent

Beautiful sight, excellent staff very helpful. Site is kept really clean and tidy. As to the constant mowing mentioned it is part of keeping site tidy and occurs when people are leaving and doesn't last long. Agree not a lot in the way of family beaches, but for us oldies who just want to sit and relax with our dogs it is superb. We are returning next week.
