Bliss in Cornwall

very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It's a quite site but not when are scallywags aged 7&5 scooted up and down outside of school holidays.  For the first time we walked to Boscastle and saw Tantagel Castle. Perfect weather and awesome views!

blissful autumn break

our first visit to Cornwall for 40 odd years, wonderful views from most pitches on site, very friendly wardens keeping everything shipshape. we particularly enjoyed the walking directly from the site and the surrounding areas. check out go4awalk for routes. probably the best located site for stunning scenery.

it was a bit windy as some of the other reviews have said, but this added to the atmosphere if anything, our old brick of a caravan wasn't going anywhere!

Windy but lovely

Arrived for a 10 day break at end of September. The first night was a bit hairy with extra strong wind - have never been in a caravan that was rocking so much before but luckily we hadn't put up the awning on arrival. Put our air awning up the following day and enjoyed 9 wonderful days on site. Wardens were lovely and facilities were super. Don't think I'd visit on high season as site could be crowded. Will definitely return next year.

The Best site Ever

We arrived at this site after stopping at two other sites which were average. The Wardens were delightful very helpful, friendly with a well stocked shop. Our pitch was all we wished for over looking the cove and sea.Although the weather was very mixed it didn't  seem to matter.Good coastal walks one very challenging .All that and very clean facilities and well kept grounds.Cannot wait to go back.

Unbelievable views

This is a site we've been looking forward to since we started caravaning and we was not disappointed when we visited at the end of September. The walks are breath taking( literally) the scenery you will not better anywhere. The facilities were spotless and functional. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful. This is a place to leave your awning behind as gusts of wind can be very strong as we soon realised, and spending a few nights wondering whether we should be taking ours down so we could get a peaceful nights sleep and not worrying about our awning disappearing across the Atlantic.

Nice views right on the coastal path.

Lovely large pitches, clean facilities. Friendly wardens. Beware the wind gets up if you need an awning as you on the cliff top. I would not recommend for families as you are right on the cliff top by the coastal path. No play area. Think twice could be dangerous. Could do with 2nd toilet block in high session .

A wonderful holiday on a fantastic site

We were so lucky to have chosen Trewethett Farm as our holiday destination. It is a stunningly situated site with easy access and great facilities. As soon as we arrived we knew we would enjoy our stay the wardens were so welcoming and friendly. Travelling from Dorchester to Trewethett could not have been easier with great road connections. The site offers some of the best coastal views on offer in the UK and the sunsets have to be seen to be believed. The facilities at the site are beautifully maintained and are always sparkling clean. The layout of the site means that through traffic on any of the cul-de-sacs is limited which makes it perfect for those of us wanting a peaceful break. Great walks are right on the sites doorstep as are plenty of great Inns and restaurants. Getting out an about to places such as Titagel, Padstow , Newquay and the surf beaches is so easy. If you love the outdoor life horse riding, fishing surfing, walking are all on offer. We will be back one of the best sites we have stayed on. If you plan to visit one word of caution you are right on the cliffs take your storm guys just for peace of mind.

Wonderful Time !

We have just returned from a fortnights break at this great site. To be honest we were a little worried having read some of the negative reviews but we are so glad we decided to ignore them and make up our own minds. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived late Saturday afternoon, all the best pitches had already been taken but we were told that we could move in the morning as there were a lot of departures coming up. We thought about it but were quite happy with the pitch we had chosen in the small bottom field so decided to stay BUT I cannot work out why some people seem to have a problem with this. Move if you want to, stay put if that's what you prefer but why does other people choosing to move worry some? - no idea! Next there's the Coastal Walk - we are in our 60's and loved it - to suggest, as someone has, that it is dangerous simply mystifies me. Finally, yes, because of the size of the site and how busy it is, it would be good to see the portacabin loos upgraded to a permanent building but everything is kept perfectly clean so at the end of the day it is not really a problem. In summary - we loved it !!

what a view

Pitched on top of the cliff the views are the best I have seen, unable to put out canopy as the wind can be too strong, great for walks but if you are a poor walker than this will be a problem for you. main toilet block was clean and up to date, TV was good reception, would recommend this site
