Windy!

This sight boasts superb views of the ocean and wonderful walks along the coast path and surrounding footpaths. The wardens are friendly and helpful and the site's shop is well stocked with the basics as well as local pasties, bread and cakes. The price to pay for the splendid views, however, is that the site is exposed...be warned: gale force winds abound!

Incredible location

This was our first stay at this site and we blown away by the views. The site itself is excellent and well looked after, the toilet/shower block was spotless, and the wardens were really friendly. The location is perfect for coastal walks to Boscastle and Tintagel. Make sure you follow the instructions on how to get to the site and ignore the SatNav! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing views! Perfect place to chill out

This was our first time we have visited Trewethett Farm and it certainly won't be our last. Pretty much all the pitch's have sea views with the site being on the cliff edge and pitch's on various levels. We stayed for 6 nights and every night we had a perfect sunset. Luckily we didn't put up an awning as the wind changed dramatically over night a few times, so it would be wise to consider this. The site is ideal for relaxing, excellent coastal walks into Tintagel and Boscastle. Wardens seemed helpful and the place always looked tidy.

Fantastic site

I visited with my sister, we spotted the campsite when we were driving to Tintagel from Boscastle (we were actually staying at Tavistock and visiting the area on a day trip out) and both commented how stunning the location was, so we decided to book and stay for a few nights over the Easter weekend.  We were so pleased with the location, great walks along the coast path. The wardens were very friendly and lovely to chat to. They absolutely love the site and were always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. Great clean facilities, little onsite shop with good selection of essential items.  Everyone on site we met were very friendly and the views are incredible. The sunsets were spectacular. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful views

This was our first stay here at Trewethett Farm CC Site. The welcome from the staff was probably the best yet. The shower block was spotless and shower lovely and hot. The views were spectacular . Tintagel and Boscastle were withing easy walking reach. We went twice to both. Good selection of shops in Tintagel including Boots the chemist , butchers, bakers and lots of tea rooms and pubs. Did not go into Tintagel Castle grounds (£7 each), we could see just as much from the cliff top. Great site, Will definitely be back.

First caravan club site arrivals

Ok I know there will be many people who will disagree with me, but when I book a site months in advance I expect a good pitch, in deed most of the sites we go to you can see the available pitches and take your pick, however here we arrived at 1pm, a not unreasonable time, to be told to leave our car and caravan outside and go and find a pitch, Mark it return to reception, get a pass and then we would be allowed entry. Freezing cold with gusty winds and rain, we wandered and wandered, obviously people who knew this rule had arrived early and had taken the best pitches, after getting a thorough drowning we found an empty pitch (oh joy our pet hate right next to the toilet block and with limited views, which was the reason for us booking this site) I had to abandon my wife to GUARD the pitch while I got our pass and our car/caravan and return to relieve Her of her despair. Thoroughly poor show, when we book months in advance we expect a better service than that free for all...

Lovely site

This is a well looked after site with good facilities.  Views are splendid from all the pitches.  Site wardens are very friendly.  Both me and the dog loved it. Close to Tintagel and Boscastle although the cliff path to Tintagel was a little challenging at the start. Will certainly return to this site.
