Welsh treasure

Whist we didn't pick the best weather for a trip across the Severn bridge, we did manage to avoid the snow! The setting was lovely and our dog loved his muddy walk through the grounds! The wardens were really helpful and the toilet blocks spotless! We will be back!

Great location on National Trust site

I read the reviews before going about the noise from traffic nearby but it did not worry us whilst we were there although it may be different in the summer if sitting outside. But being part of the Tredegar House estate and the lovely grounds you are in there is always somewhere to escape to. Great for the dogs and a great play area for kids if you have any. What a lovely welcome we had when we arrived and the site was very clean tidy and well laid out. slight slope on site but the pitches were level.

RECOMMENDED

Just spent 5 nights at Tredegar Park. Great site and well kept, even at this time of year. Lovely friendly welcome from the warden on arrival. Fantastic site for dog owners, acres of running space right outside the gates (why some owners used the grass between pitches for their pooches every morning beggars belief) There is a distant noise of motorway traffic but it's not intrusive. We will be back there in the spring.
