We are new to caravanning and we booked into this site on our month long tour of Yorkshire. The site is spotless and the guys running the site are fabulous. They knew we were beginners and were always on hand to help us out, because the site has no toilets or showers and it can get a bit cold up there it was the perfect place to work out how to use our caravan. The site is in a beautiful village, the 2 pubs are great, the little golf course is a great way to fill in an hour and the views are breathtaking.
A few tips I'd like to pass on, if you want free WiFi park near the entrance and you'll be able to get a wifi signal from the pub over the road but they do turn it off when the pub closes. If like us you'd prefer to use your caravan toilet only for liquids there's a well kept public toilet in the village a few minutes walk away and lastly the pitches on the river side of the site get a little boggy so try and stay upon the other side of the driveway.
