Convenient

We had a grass pitch, but in all fairness we were advised which areas to avoid parking on in a motorhome. Toilet block a bit old but hot showers, wardens very helpful. Very convenient for the town and easy walking everywhere.

Poor site

Very poor site! All grass pitches with uneven poor grass. Toilet block in desperate need of updating!

Convenient Spot.

Great for the town and eateries, good facilities and friendly staff. Abbey bells and noisy dogs made the peace and quiet rating lower. The grass pitches can be soggy when wet although we did not get bogged down.

Great Spot

Friendly welcome with advice on a suitable spot due to the wet weather. Plenty of pitches available with plenty of room on each and usual clean shower blocks plus plenty of water/waste points. Ideally located just a 5 minute walk into town and right beside the Abbey. Lots of pubs and eateries nearby. Great site for walking and relaxing

Great location

This is the first time we had visited this site after being recommended by another CC member. Wardens very approachable, site kept immaculate, what more can I say... However the wardens work very hard to keep the site in an excellent condition. I think the caravan club now needs to match that commitment with upgrading the toilet facilities, they felt outdated and worn out in places against other caravan club sites we have used recently. The site wardens deserves new updated facilities to compliment their hard work.. So its over to the caravan club to review this site to continue to offer the best sites within the caravan club network.

Does what it says on the tin

??? Great weekend stay beginning of June when I was in the area to service the van. Place was full with a daily turnover of 70+ but the wardens manged it with ease.  Toilets could really do with a refurb to gain 5* but this is not a reflection on the cleanliness.  Town very handy for everything and dog friendly. Will return again - thanks wardens for keeping on top of a location that can be battered by the weather - you keep it immaculate??

Can't believe what I am reading

I am sat in my motorhome at Tewkesbury site reading the reviews of fellow C.C. members and I think I must be on a different site. Been here 2 days and find the site great. Wardens very helpful and friendly. Ok toilet block isn't the newest but it is always spotless. Beautiful floral displays on site .Great location everything you need on the doorstep .View of abbey from site ok you are in a town so noise can be expected but to be honest I am a light sleeper and have not heard any noise maybe it's because I am on a centre pitch . Pitch sizes are good been on sites where pitches are a lot smaller so I have no issues with pitch size.I have been touring for 3 months and  I think this is a great site with wardens who go that extra mile and are very hard working and friendly so give them some credit for all their hard work . Can't wait to return .

En route

First time at Tewkesbury site. The fine weather allowed us to enjoy the town and the park. Good pubs with outdoor space, where we sat in the sunshine, drinking tasty beers. Dogs allowed inside in at least some of the pubs, which is a bonus for us. Site was full, and felt a little over-busy. We were aware of the late night noise from nearby, so perhaps earplugs next time. The wardens were lovely and helpful; however, the facilities were in need of a little updating. Would definitely make a return visit.

Would need a good reason to return.

The site felt cramped and finding a pitch was not easy. Lots of regulars avoided our pitch and I can see why. Dipped waterlogged ground meant that our awning remained in the van. Toilet block not up to CC standard. Husbands disabled shower had major issue with shower head and in my block I couldn't even reach the place where shampoo etc sits.Pressure poor though water hot enough. Wardens as ever cheerful. Dog walk off site which I think is a cop out when they have space for a small one towards the front. Cheap option using public park! So some dog owners  would let their dogs poo on site although they did clear up. The van next to me parked on the wrong side for our entire stay and I didn't want to complain  as it would clearly only have come from our van. A fire risk at worst, annoying at best, and through the wardens went past on a regular basis none felt the need to correct.Closeness to town was a major reason for continuing our stay and the park was great to wander round. Felt really squashed in, so unusual on a club site. If I even need to go to Tewkesbury I would stay but not for more than a day or two. Well below expectations.
