Beautiful site so close to the Abbey and the beautiful town. And just a short walk to the river.
Definitely a must visit place.
I will definitely be coming back here, one of the most beautiful towns I have visited, and the site is perfectly located and very easy to get to.
Unlike a previous review I found the signs leading to the site spot on, and the arrivals area is where you need to be I would have thought.
Can't praise the site and the staff enough, I will definitely be back very soon...
What a shame
We arrived at Tewksbury and found the signage confusing as to where to place our outfit. The only visible road marking lead us to an arrivals area with a gate and fence at the end of it which also had pedestrians passing through it , NOT IDEAL !
We found the site to be very tired and in need of updating, the shower blocks seem to be out of the 1970s. Pitches are very close together.
We would advise that if you are looking for a peaceful break this is not the site to choose.
We found the Rugby Club and Cricket club adjacent to the site very noisy.
Watch out for the midges!!
Stayed for two nights on our way home from the West Country. Very busy site but in a wonderful location. Ten minutes walk into Tewksbury where there is a variety of shops and places to eat and drink. The chimes from the Abby next to the site were lovely to listen especially when you are awake early. The shower blocks are old and not up to the clubs usual standard but hopefully they will be replaced this winter close down with the Clubs 1st class facilities. But they were immaculately clean. I understand this is the fault of the Local Authority Planners and not the Club!! There are no hard standings which I think could be an issue if there was a prolonged wet period. Hopefully this is something that will be addressed during the site closures and makeover! The only thing that spoilt our stay was me being bitten by midges and has resulted in a visit to the doctor and a course of antibiotics!! We will definitely be back this time with mozzy spray!!!

Great Location
This Site is one of our favourites as stop off from Friday to Monday
Has a Great town with shops Market & the Best Weatherspoons ever!
But the facilities are letting the Club down! there not the Clubs usual Standard the cleaning times are fine which means you don't have to get
Up & rush to the Showers, we we still Luv Tewkesbury Site,
site revamped?
Good location for walking into Tewkesbury to visit shops, pubs etc. Good play area outside site for children with ideal dog walking facilities nearby. I'm afraid, as others have mentioned, the facilities are way past their best and really need updating and extending. Whoever decided to remove the trees and hedges needs to review what they've done, as other visitors have commented, there is no longer any privacy to pitches with units seemingly so close together you might as well be camping with them. Campers no longer circuit your pitch to get anywhere on site they just walk right through, sometimes that close they trip over awning guy ropes. Won't be back on this site until something is done re my and other members comments about it.

Love this site.
The park just outside the site is a dogs paradise 😆
The town ls a short walk lovely old pub's.
Poor facilities
What is going on caravan and motorhome club. we stayed for one night in June as a stopover intending to return for three more nights later in our holiday but due to facilities in toilets been so awful decided to cancel. the showers were atrocious grouting all dirty and appliances all yellowed with age. I really am surprised that they haven't renovated them by now as I know they close in October for the winter break.
I love this site as it's so convenient with us having a motorhome but won't be returning till something is done which is a real shame as wardens and site is smashing
Short Stop
First time on this site 14/15th June. Surprised how full it was with a high turn over. Positives were the greetings from the the friendly efficient staff, the well kept pitches and the proximity to the lovely Abbey. A definite negaive was to observe the aftermath of an illegal encampment on the adjacent park and to learn that it is an annual occurrence. We now realise the necessity for locked security gates and shower blocks. We were kept awake until after midnight by screaming kids from outside the site. As previously mentioned, shower blocks are looking a little tired and not up to the usual standards despite the best efforts of the staff. We were looking forward to a stroll around Tewkesbury but again this is looking a little run down with the usual charity shops taking over. If we return here it will only be as a stop over on route elsewhere. Am a little puzzled by previous duplicated review that gives the site five stars then has nothing good to say about it? Apparently nobody reviews these entries?
What have they done to the site!
Have always loved this site, great wardens, great facilities, BUT someone has taken into their head to remove loads of the trees and increase the pitches! Now you are so close to each other you can hear every conversation, see in every window which are less than 10 feet away, no shade, no privacy, no peace and quiet, it is awful!
