Brilliant Barney

Just returned from one of many visits to Barnard Castle club site. Never tire of this immaculately kept site. Wardens are among the best and site reflects this. Barney is a great little town, good pubs, fantastic fish and chips, friendly locals and great walks along the river both upstream and downstream. We will be back soon.R<

First time in a campervan

Just spent one night on a test run with newly acquired van and awning. Lovely site in easy walking distance of the town. Very welcoming and helpful wardens.

Worth a visit!

I really liked this site. Within walking distance of the town along a riverside path. Plenty of good walking. Site well looked after by the wardens. Staff friendly and helpful. Fish and chips were good as well.

Fantastic site

An impeccably clean site with helpful and friendly wardens passing on local information including a map of the town centre. Extra large pitches, outstanding toilet block facilities and a huge dog walk. Just about within easy walking distance of the town - approx 20 mins. Great location for exploring the Tees walks. Didn't appear to be much going on in the town though, even though it was bank holiday weekend - advertisements for early September instead.
