Sincere thanks to a great team

To the wardens PETE, ANDINA, SHAUN and JULIE nothing less than a fantastic team. I was recently in the unfortunate position of possibly suffering from a coronary artery spasms which can appear to be a heart attack. After calling for an ambulance I waited by the reception on site whilst my wife explained to the wardens what was happening. Along with our next door neighbour on site who turned out to be a coronary care nurse I was cared for by all with great skill, compassion and a laugh when needed. On our return from hospital the next day until we left we where still being discreetly cared for by the wardens. What a great team they are a credit to the club.

Wonderful return

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the revamped site. Toilet block improvements were fantastic, yes a few snagging jobs but this comes with all building work, but that aside all is great. Overall the site looked great. the sun shone on our arrival and made our day. The next day was a bit overcast but warm and we had a good day out in Sutton and a very long walk along the sea front followed by a lovely snack and a well earned cup of tea back in Sutton. This site is in a wonderful part of the country with other within easy reach. l wonderful part of the country. Well done to the staff and the CAMC for a great place.

what can you say perfick

we came back after a four year break to a newly renovated site .toilet block is now first class. A lot of the hard standings have been redressed and there are more hardstandings and a whole area of serviced pitches if required. The wardens were friendly and always helpful. Lets hope kids on bikes can read the 5mph signs ,and some car drivers .this appears to be a nationwide problem . We have already booked another long weekend . my praise go to the wardens .

Lovely Site

We have just returned from a 6 night stay on this lovely site . We arrived on the first day of reopening after renovations and were greeted by lovely, friendly wardens and first class new facilities. An extra treat was being allowed to pitch on a new all services pitch at no extra cost. The site is excellent for visiting the nearby towns of Mablethorpe, Chapel St Leonard’s and Skegness or inland to Louth and it literally takes a 5 mins cycle ride to the seafront promenade where you can cycle for miles. This can also be accessed easily on foot if preferred. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

Well done to all involved

Just returned from a couple of nights here. What a beautiful site, especially as the improvements are complete. Wonderful amenities block, brand new and sparkling. Very quiet road, so little traffic noise. Wardens friendly and helpful. We will return!!

Great little site

Clean and well laid out, pleasant and helpful staff. Great for young children due to proximity of Butlins for a day out. Would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent Little Site

This is a cracking little sit had two consecutive weekends with the grand kids. The facilities are old but clean compared to other CAMC sites we’ve visited this season but they have closed the site for refurbishing so we’re looking forward to visiting next season to see what’s been done. The warden Pete who ran the site was very polite and professional couldn’t do enough for us so keep up the good work Pete and we will see you next year.

Second Year Running and wanting to come back in 2019

Just back home following a weeks stay with our granddaughter having visited previously in the 2017 school summer holidays . We found both sets of wardens very helpful and friendly. Yes, the toilet block is showing its age, but was still very clean and serviceable and no doubt will be vastly improved once the forthcoming site renovations are completed. The many children on site were a credit to their parents and all children seemed to be playing nicely with each other and enjoying being able to ride their bikes in a safe environment, whilst respecting the wishes of adults on holiday. I am sure our granddaughter wasn't the only child who preferred to stay on site and play with her new found friends rather than go out for the day. The children were very polite and courteous when spoken to by adults. Our only gripe was the vast number of members who totally disregard the 5mph speed limit around the site. If members drove in 1st gear the 5mph limit is not a problem, but you could hear cars moving into 2nd gear and on many occasions 3rd gear which indicates that they must be traveling at least 15mph to 20mph. The site was quite busy with mostly grandparents and their grandchildren and from my observations it was these senior members who were the worst speeding culprits. When we did venture out we went to the lovely sandy beaches at Sandilands and Sutton on Sea. On departure our granddaughter asked if she could come again next year which I guess is the best recommendation the site could have.

August 2018

Where to start. This is one of the best sites that we have been. It was lovely and peaceful but the children all played together. The facilities are not the most modern but they all worked perfectly. Never had to wait for the shower and always plenty of hot water. Facilities were always clean. The beach is about three quarters of a mile but I would recommend Huttoft Car Terrace you can park you car vitully on the beach. Dogs are welcome. The sea was lovely and warm and safe for children once out past the steep slope at the top of the beach. Skegness raceway good for a night out watching the stock cars For a great dog out try Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre plenty to do including a Lancaster Bomber and a set up of bomber command. Great value for £21 for a family ticket, our boys loved it.

Lovel site

This was our third visit to this site, and we were not disappointed with the cleanliness of the site, and the wardens were very friendly and helpful.I hope they don't spoil the site with the refurb and try to cram more vans in. the only complaint I have is the speedway around the site from the children on their bikes and going in and out of the pitches, surely the speed limit applies to bikes as well it was very dangerous and nobody in charge said anything.
