Good stay

There is a lot of road works going on right next to site but this has little or no inpact on your stay , apart from access , signage could be better..  Definately worth a visit.

Very Friendly

I have stayed on this site a number of times when visiting my daughter in Glasgow. The site is perfectly located within easy access to the M74. However, because of the close proximity to the motorway means there is a degree of road noise which doesn't provide much in the way of peace and quiet especially with the current road works going on. The site itself is very clean and well maintained and the wardens are very friendly and helpful. You are only a few minutes walk from the country park where there's the theme park for families and there are miles of safe walking. Without doubt, I will be staying here again.

Well Managed Site

Stayed for a night on our way south and found the wardens very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use this site again and recommend it. All the roadworks around the site did not cause us to lose any sleep.

Not a site I would visit again in a hurry

Whilst the roadworks are going on this site was very noisy all day and every day. However the most disappointing thing about the site was the Wardens! We found them all to be extremely rude and aggressive and felt like we were being watched. I walked across part of the grassed area at one stage only to be shouted at and told I had been observed on CCTV. Of all the CC Sites I have visited I have never experienced or been treated like this. Truly appalling.

Excellent half term break.

To say that we arrived on site by an AA tow truck was not how I imagined the weeks holiday going. The wardens went out they way to get our holiday back on track. Being without a car was not a problem. Within walking distance was Amonzia which passed a morning then a good half walk into Hamiliton to the Water Palace which is far better than any water park we have visited back down in England. The park itself looks beautiful with the Autumn colours. The dishwashing area, toilet and showers are immaculate. Smooth FM even plays through to the toilet building! I have also used the washing machine, although a bit pricey at £4.00 a cycle and £1.00 for tumble drier, it's useful to have on site. We have really enjoyed this site and are already planning our return visit.

Often stop

It's always a pleasure to visit this site. Staff are friendly and helpful. For us if going south it's a stopover or going north it's a 2 day halt to rest. Yes a great site.

Great Stop Off

We stayed for one night - excellent for a stop over on route further north. Great dog walk on the site and also into the park next door. Deer seen on the site too which is lovely to see being so close to the busy road. There was some noise from the motorway but nothing unusual and didn't affect our stay or sleep. The facilities, showers toilets immaculately clean.

good stopover on way to highlands

we used this site on our way up to and going back from the highland site in Morvich. Very friendly and helpful staff.  used the Toby restaurant which was just around corner. Also filled up with fuel locally. Site not very quiet due to major road works on the motorway, which was less than half a mile away. it was off the motorway and straight into site (almost). with the park on the door step could be a nice place for a longer stay. we don't have kids but nice site with playground and theme park just down the road.

Great site

Great site, very friendly helpful wardens during our recent stay on 1st week of October. There is some road noise from the motorway and some roadworks noise from the roundabout & motorway junction alterations too but we didn't find it too bad. The toilet block was very clean, pitches are a good size and well spaced and the site is ideally placed for getting out and about from. There's a Toby Carvery a 5 minute walk away too offering good value meals. We will be going back as a week at this site just wasn't long enough.
