Great site

Great site, very friendly helpful wardens during our recent stay on 1st week of October. There is some road noise from the motorway and some roadworks noise from the roundabout & motorway junction alterations too but we didn't find it too bad. The toilet block was very clean, pitches are a good size and well spaced and the site is ideally placed for getting out and about from. There's a Toby Carvery a 5 minute walk away too offering good value meals. We will be going back as a week at this site just wasn't long enough.

Great choice for half term

We took our grandson to the site at Strathclyde Country Park, mainly in order to visit M&D's. We were a bit worried about the warning on the website about the noise from the roadworks and I phoned up for clarification. I had a very useful conversation and was told to just book for one night and see how I felt about the noise. In fact, I was told to just turn up and I would be able to get a pitch of my choice, probably away from any noise. We did this and were able to choose our pitch away from the road which was just a distant hum, certainly not a problem. Our grandson enjoyed playing in the play area, and riding his bike around the quiet roads. We used the dog walk a few times and found it to be excellent as we could let them off the lead and there and back was a decent walk. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the toilet block very warm and clean and we loved the site. M&D's was all we expected and grandson loved it, so no doubt we'll be back!

Excellent site and friendly staff

A lovely site with very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend this site for anyone visiting Glasgow and the south-west of Scotland.

Good for the city

the wardens on this site were very helpful in respect of helping with your questions about Glasgow, and the mini bus into the city is a great addition and good value for money, the site itself is very well maintained and once the road works are finished it will be a great place to stay

Stopover at Strathclyde

1st time at this new site on a trip to the highlands.Wardens were helpful and friendly. We felt it was essentially a bland overnight car park .There's nothing wrong with that but we will push on a bit further north next time.

Perfect Stop Over

This was our first night stop over on our tour of Scotland and what a perfect night it was. It was our first time on a Caravan Club site and we were very impressed. The staff we met were very helpful and the toilet blocks and grounds were immaculate, perfect facilities. The Toby Cavery was only a short walk away for a well needed drink and a bite to eat. Just what we needed with a long drive behind us and a long drive ahead of us. Wish we could have seen more of the surroundings, would definately stay again.

Lovely clean site

Stayed at this site for 7 nights last week. The site was lovely & clean especially the toilet blocks & I loved the piped music. The wardens were very helpful in directing me to a store nearby in order to buy a new LNB for our satellite dish which had stopped working. The nearby roadworks did spoil our stay but we knew about them before we booked. Some of the lane closures changed on a daily basis & the temporary signs were only good enough to understand for the locals. Sometimes 20 minutes was added to what should have been a straight forward journey. Will stay here again though.

stop over

Our first stop in Scotland.  Very friendly.  Walked around the lake in the afternoon - 4 miles which was just what was needed after driving over 200 miles. Great place for stop over or for longer - wished we could have stayed longer

Third weekend at Strathclyde park

Once again we had a great stay at Strathclyde Park. Toilet blocks are immaculate and the grounds are maintained to a high standard. Every thing and everywhere is spotless. Our Grandchildren love to come with us to this site as it is located next to M&D's theme park and the play area on site is great for the kids to meet other kids. Wardens are very welcoming and very helpful.
