Lovely site

We stayed here on our way up to Oban. Beautiful well laid out and clean site. Our dog enjoyed the country park which is on the doorstep. Can't fault the site at all. Only issue at the moment is the roadworks. The noise didn't bother us but the first approach to the site via the roundabout was confusing as although the site map gives clear instructions they can't control the roads and access blocked by the roadworks. I expect all will be pleased when they are completed.

Nice, Well Laid Out, Open Site

We actually, only booked Strathclyde as a 2 night stopover on our journey further up through Scotland, but were really impressed with the site. A handy location near the motorway and only a slight background noise, the large park itself is next door, a pub within 5 minutes walk, shops nearby and the site itself is nice and open with good, clean facilities and friendly wardens. We will definitely use this site again.

Great Site

We visited the site on the last weekend in August 2015 this was out 2nd visit. The site is maturing very well  and we enjoyed our stay despite the roadworks outside. The wardens on the site are the best we have encountered all very helpful and friendly special thanks to Den and Anora who were extremely pleasant and helpful. We will visit again soon.

Visit to Glasgow

We loved the way the site was laid out and the toilets etc were excellent and very well maintained. The wardens were very friendly and gave top class help and advice when asked. The site is a very short walk to the attractions in Strathclyde Park with lake, country walks and quite a good fairground for the kids. A decent bar restaurant for the rest of us is nearby. Glasgow is within easy reach by car but there is a mini-bus that calls at the site. The only thing that spoils it is the racket from the construction site an the constant motorway traffic delivering to the Food Park nearby.

PERFECTO PARA VISITAS CULTURALES

Situación ideal para visitar los lugares más interesantes, culturalmente, de Escocia. Deseamos que con el fin de las obras vecinas gane en tranquilidad y en rapidez de conexiones por carretera.

Road to the Isles

Stayed for 3 days when breaking our journey to Perthshire. The construction underway made access difficult but we coped and this can hardly be blamed on the site. Grandchildren loved the location and play area and we were all warmly welcomed by the very efficient staff. Will certainly go there again (when the roadworks are finished!)

disappointing

Road noise from M74 Junction and surrounding road 24 hours a day does not help a great site. Road works on Junction also make approach to site difficult Site layout a bit confusing the one way system........... Staff very Friendly site, very clean and tidy facilities great

Ideal Stopover Site

Stopped over for one night en route from far north to SW Scotland. Site is first rate and kept very tidy. The adjacent road works were a pain, generating a lot of queues and construction noise. The adjacent roads are noisy all night too. The site should have a quick empty point for motorhomes, especially considering the numbers that use the site.
