Stayed here for 3 nights in between Christmas and new year, the site was 200 yards off beach which the puppy Loved! Everyone was really friendly and helpful site was immaculate and shower room was nice and warm 😊. They even had little christmas treats for the dogs! Lovely site and look forward to going back.
Just enjoyed four days on this site. Facilities spotless and well maintained. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Lovely beach. A must is ice cream parlour and fish and chip shop just outside site. Delicious. The beach was very rough while we were there but was a beautiful site.
An excellent site, and well located. Pity we had to arrive just as the weather turned on us after some previously lovely days. That said, the facilities made up for it, and Stonehaven is a gem, whatever the weather. Well recommended.

Just spent another great week here hard working wardens never stop. Toilets are always spotless as is the cleanliness of the site Maggie and Richard were really good wardens and these two are not far behind them will miss them next year
With my mother being born & brought up at Stonehaven It was a very personal trip last weekend. When I had my 3rd touring caravan 30 years ago this site was owned by the council & was prett poor, what a transformation now!! Being semi retired & just bought a new
Motorhome 3rd outing my wife & I had a fabulous weekend. Thanks to all the staff on site for making this happen. Derek & Anne
Stopped for couple of nights late September,
nice clean site, facilities spotless and nice walks by the sea. Nice fish and chip shop nearby, but a bit put off by several motorhomes parked on seafront, waste water over the road, not fair really when a site is so close (and a car park with no bar) Otherwise, a nice peaceful stay.

I don't think Harry and I have been to a friendlier place in Scotland. This site is the icing on the cake , Stonehaven is great for Harry, my terrier too , a very dog friendly place altogether.
We recently spent 3 nights here, our first visit. It is a very clean site from toiket block to the litter free pitches and bin sites. Location is excellent just off the promenade and 5 minutes walk from the town.
We found the local pubs were dog friendly, nice if it's raining. The wardens were very friendly. All in all a very nice experience, we will be back.
First visit to the site, pre-booked for two nights, on arrival had a choice of 5/6 pitches, although "Site Full" sign was up sometime later.
The site itself was impressive, no litter to be seen, and everything in its place.
Both the Ladies/Gents toilets and showers were spotless, any time we used them, the staff are to be congratulated on a first class job.
As stated in previous reviews, Fish & Chip shop and local amenities handy, and excellent, so really no complaints.
Only down side was we only stayed for two nights, back next year I think for a bit longer.
Really nice looking site which the wardens do a great job at keeping very clean. Fish n chip shop, cafe and ice-cream shop closeby are great too. We had a lovely time and will return but there were a couple of niggles. Surprised no reviews mention the noise from the roads which are on both sides of the site...there's the main road on one side and the road on the beach side into Cowie on the other. We were on the beach side and the road was a lot busier than we anticipated. Although the wardens work hard to keep the facilities spotless, some users obviously have lower standards of cleanliness leaving toilets, shower cubicles and sinks dirty! Would you leave you toilet at home in that state....I think not! Come on people, clean up after yourselves and show consideration for others....and remember the onsite speed limit is there for a reason!
