Stonehaven Site

We have recently stayed two weeks on this site. Lovely facilities and kept very clean. New wardens this year who are extremely helpful and friendly, doing a great job keeping the site in good order. Makes such a difference. Site is nice and central with good walks into the town and along the cliffs. Good bus service to Aberdeen or to many towns south of Stonehaven. Enjoyed our stay.

Open site, good for families

Friendly welcome from wardens. Clean, open site. Great location near stony beach, 10 minute walk into town. Chip shop and ice-cream shop very close (but very busy and popular, expect to queue!). Great kids play park and skate park a 2 minute walk from park. Also outdoor and indoor swimming pool too.

Great site - kids delight !

This is a very good, well kept, clean site with really excellent toilet & shower facilities. the site is situated in Stonehaven with easy access just off the A96.. Next door is a very good children's play park which can suit all ages up to teenagers. There is also quite a large grassy area for any ball games. A 5 min walk there is a great Ice cream shop (Aunty Bettys) 60+ flavours of ice cream, and next door is a world famous 'chippy'. 10 min walk into town is a large Co-op. Then of course is the pebbly beach, with the famous 'boardwalk' along towards the harbour., and up the hill is Stonehaven golf Club. The site is also handy as a touring base for Royal Deeside etc.

Excellent

We stayed here for 3 nights the site is well kept clean and the staff are very helpful. It was perfect having a toddler with us having access to a bath . The location is excellent with plenty to do with the kids. Only 2 stops via train for a day out in Aberdeen. Would recommend this site.👍

Nice, neat and tidy site.

We only stayed here for one night as we were touring and used this as a stop off so friends from Aberdeen could come and visit. It is an ideal site for motor-homers who have no alternative transport as it is a short walk to the town where there is a Co-op for grocery shopping and loads of local shops to visit. The beach is across the road from the site and the walk along the beach front is very nice. Such a walk would not be complete without a stop at the ice-cream shop which is well worth a visit. The take-away Fish and Chip shop is within walking distance and the home of the deep fried Mar bar is also in the town and within walking distance. The wardens are very good, professional and efficient as well as being great fun. The site has good spacing between the pitches and the facilities are as you would expect, being a Club site. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site and will return the next time I need to visit our friends in Aberdeen. My only small 'gripe' on this visit is that the road works on the main road were very noisy at 5.00am which is because they probably they had to work at that time of the morning because it was the quietest time for road traffic. The noise was just enough to ensure we got woken up and lasted till 6.00am when it stopped. Once the road works are finished in a few weeks time there will not be any early morning wake up noise. Other than that, it is a great site.

Fantastic Site and great wardens

Just completing another visit at Stonehaven. Excellent site in a wonderful location. Beach opposite site entrance. Town a gentle 10/15 minute walk along the seafront. Christine and Ian (wardens) are a fabulous couple of wardens. Very friendly, helpful and proactive. Both are so positive and go out of their way to help. Great ambassadors for the Club. The facilities are top class too. Look forward to many return visits. James Thomson

Fantastic Site

It is the second time we have stayed on this site, and it has not disappointed us. Lots of things to do, places to walk to, places to ride to, places to eat (the chippy along the road is great) and a loverly town and harbour. Well don C&MC you have made a old site into something very special.

A fantastic location for holiday or short break

My wife and I are regular visitors to the Queen Elizabeth Park. We love the location, the site and amenities are at all times clean. It is just a short stroll to the sports centre and heated open air 50m swimming pool. and a short walk along the sea front broad walk to the harbour and its fine pubs. serving good food and ale. Due to working in Stonehaven during March 2017 I booked a pitch for myself for about three weeks, It was fantastic, like going on holiday each evening after work There was no better way to de stress. The Wardens were very friendly and helpful at all times. My wife was worried that after me staying for three weeks I may not be too keen to return for a weekend......Not so I cant wait to return with my wife for another weekend break at this fantastic site in the perfect location.
