Fantastic Site and great wardens

Just completing another visit at Stonehaven. Excellent site in a wonderful location. Beach opposite site entrance. Town a gentle 10/15 minute walk along the seafront. Christine and Ian (wardens) are a fabulous couple of wardens. Very friendly, helpful and proactive. Both are so positive and go out of their way to help. Great ambassadors for the Club. The facilities are top class too. Look forward to many return visits. James Thomson

Fantastic Site

It is the second time we have stayed on this site, and it has not disappointed us. Lots of things to do, places to walk to, places to ride to, places to eat (the chippy along the road is great) and a loverly town and harbour. Well don C&MC you have made a old site into something very special.

A fantastic location for holiday or short break

My wife and I are regular visitors to the Queen Elizabeth Park. We love the location, the site and amenities are at all times clean. It is just a short stroll to the sports centre and heated open air 50m swimming pool. and a short walk along the sea front broad walk to the harbour and its fine pubs. serving good food and ale. Due to working in Stonehaven during March 2017 I booked a pitch for myself for about three weeks, It was fantastic, like going on holiday each evening after work There was no better way to de stress. The Wardens were very friendly and helpful at all times. My wife was worried that after me staying for three weeks I may not be too keen to return for a weekend......Not so I cant wait to return with my wife for another weekend break at this fantastic site in the perfect location.

A GREAT FIND

This site is in a lovely location and within easy walking distance to the town and the harbour. The views are tremendous and there's plenty of walks and activities for everyone. There is a good bus service to Aberdeen, Montrose and beyond. Within the town itself there are several small, independent gift shops, and several places to eat and drink, especially round the harbour area. We were very pleased with the site itself, with spacious pitches and very friendly, welcoming wardens. The toilet and shower block was in the main the same high standard of all Caravan & Motorhome Club sites - the showers very spacious with loads of hot water. Unfortunately during our stay the toilets were left in a very unwelcoming state by other fellow campers. This is not helpful to the wardens who go out of their way to keep everything in tip-top condition. However, we really liked the site and we will return in the future and recommend it to our friends.

Outstanding site

We have stayed here several times previously, and we will definitely return. The site is spacious, quiet, very well equipped and laid out. It is close to the beach and to the delightful little town of Stonehaven, as well as being only a half hour's drive from Aberdeen. The site is immaculately clean, and the wardens are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Very highly recommended.

First trip out this year

A lovely, clean site and very level so was easy to pitch up. Big pitches, all hard standing allow space between rigs. The Wardens were lovely and very helpful. It is near good walks and a pebble/sand beach. This is a storm beach and drops away quite steeply in some places. At low tide there were an amazing variety of water birds on the rocks. The site is on the edge of the small town and it was easy to walk to all shops and facilities. There was a bus service close by for Aberdeen. Good place to stop with a motorhome or caravan alike.

First time away

This was the first time we have used our Motorhome and a Caravan Club site. The staff were excellent and very helpful, the site its self was Spotlessly clean and tidy and we will defiantly be back , lovely walk into Stonehaven along the beach with our door, nice pubs, shops and fantastic Chinese/Thia restaurant. Keep up the great work, can't wait to return.

Excellent site with super staff in a great location.

I only wish to highlight how staff excelled during this stay. My wife and I, like many others are on the uncharted journey of coping with dementia. Shortly after arriving we realised that my wife can no longer cope with the keypad to access the toilet / shower block. The wardens immediately offered the key for the disabled facilities. My wife found she could manage this on her own, restoring her confidence and dignity. A small thing but tremendously important. Hopefully we can continue to tour for some time yet. Thanks.

Very helpful

Recently stayed in our campervan at this park for the Hogmany fire festival. Excellent site with the best showers and toilets we've ever come across. The wardens were exceptionally helpful and rang us to inform they had had a cancelation so we could stay for an extra night. Nice area with fish and chip shop and bistro 100 yards away, and a massive coop store just around the corner. Lovely walks along the seafront into Stonehaven and round by the harbour. Also the birthplace of the battered deep fried mars bar which everyone has to to try the once. Will definitely be back although won't be having another deep fried mars bar, Fish and Chips were good though.
