Seaside heaven

Stayed for 5 days in September. Very convenient site loved the walk along prom to the harbour. Award winning fish and chips so close and lovely. Also ice cream with flavours not seen elsewhere. Very helpful wardens. Will come back on our next tour of Scotland

Superb Stay at a Great Site

Another lovely stay at Stonehaven, brilliant site, spotlessly clean, very helpful wardens, and great fish and chips at the Bay, nice beach and harbour at the entrance to the site, nearby Dunnottar Castle is stunning it’s a good walk up the paths so you need to be fit and active, it was a bit wet and windy but didn’t put us off, co-op supermarket and good local shops in town within easy walking distance or Asda and Tesco a short drive away, lots to see and do around, short drive to visit Aberdeen itself or for a more relaxed day visit Lunan Bay about 35 minutes drive away for a nice walk along the sandy beach and sand dunes, see the ruins of Red Castle, there’s a superb farm restaurant only yards away from the car park serving good food, a great day out for a picnic and walk with the dogs, loads of others places to visit

Great site, we'll be visiting again!

First visit to a Caravan Club site, we were not disappointed! Wardens run an extremely tight ship, excellent facilities and generous pitches all make for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Location is on north end of Stonehaven which present nice walks into town, lovely harbour with good options for eating out and a nice pint, Marine Hotel being the stand out location! We'll certainly be visiting again!

Worth a visit

This was our first visit to the site and we were not let down. Typically high Caravan Club standards are maintained on the site and staff were helpful as ever. The facilities were bright, warm and very clean and everything worked as advertised. The pitches are all hardstanding and very generous and all roadways are in good condition. Not too busy (1 - 8 October) but it was full as we left, as school holidays had just started. Pretty quiet, although it sits just below the main road into town from the A92. Very handy for the town, which is just a short walk away, and the award winning Fish and Chip shop (and Ice Cream shop) are an even shorter walk. No real views of the sea, sadly, but the seafront is just across the road and local walks extend both right and left - the walk through the harbour to Dunnottar Castle, via the very original war memorial, is certainly worth it. We will visit again.

Easy living

An excellent site well maintained with friendly and helpful wardens. Great for just strolling out of the site for walks along the seafront. Ice creams and food all 2 minutes away. Walk to town centre not too far. The only problem with the site is no dog bins which is a major error as people use the normal bins rather than leave the site to dispose of waste.

Holiday break

This was our first visit to the site. It was peaceful with clean facilities and friendly staff. We used this as a base, as we were meeting up with family and it was a perfect location. Will certainly use it again.

Relaxing stay

A lovely relaxing stay, lots of dog walks which Tess loved. Site was immaculate and the wardens very friendly. We will be back again very soon. The chip shop is amazing a little queue but well worth the wait. We need to try the ice cream shop next time.

Superbe site one of our top favourite sites

We always try and visit Stonehaven at least twice a year. The Queen Elizabeth site is well located next to the Lido and the coastal walks including the one to Dunnottar Castle. The wardens are both friendly and helpful and maintain the site to the highest of standards. Well done.
