Excellent location
Just returned home after two weeks on a serviced pitch at Southport. As others have said it is well located within easy walking distance to town centre, the sea front and adjacent to Victoria Park. Site staff friendly and helpful, facilities kept clean. As someone mentioned earlier there was only one entrance to the toilet block in the new area of the site but staff have now opened up a new pathway at the opposite end, this will, in my opinion make serviced pitch no109, a not very desirable pitch. We were opposite this area and in the very short time the path was opened, pitch 109 became a major through way for pedestrian traffic. Certainly no way I would consider pitching there. Southport is a member only site and I was very surprised, to say the least, to see one person come up with his obviously full toilet cassette to the fresh water point on an unoccupied serviced pitch and start to unscrew the cap ready to empty the cassette. Both myself and the occupant of the next caravan stopped him but I really wonder about the conduct of some members, surely he must have known this wasn't acceptable.
Lovely site though, will definitely return ( but not to pitch 109)
