We love this site for all it offers and the proximity to Cromer (1 mile walk). All credit to wardens for keeping it spotless even when some visitors feel they don't need to! Love the new serviced pitch area but agree with other reviewer that an increased facility block is needed (there is room at the corner of the new area for a small one, say 2 toilets and showers each M/F. Was it not on the original plans we saw, what stopped it?). Recommend Rocky Bottoms fish restaurant towards West Runton (walking distance) fab food and fab views. Carnival week provides lots of entertainment, although weather wasn't too kind this year for one of the days.
Amazing Time
Have just had an amazing week at Seacroft. As our first time visiting the site, myself and my daughter were amazed at how great this site is. We can only praise all the wardens as to how hard working, helpfull, professional, great with all the kids (and adults) all whilst having an all round fun loving attitude which made our holiday brilliant.
The entertainment was great everynight with a wide variety of acts like magicians, singers, clowns and hypnotists. The compere Tara is great and entertains every one with her kids disco, bingo, Singing, karaoke and of course "Seacrofts got talent"
The complex has a bar, Outside decking area, pool table, air hockey with a lovely restaurant which serves fabulous food at great prices, including great daily specials in which I had the Cromer Crab platter. The manager Sara and her staff do a fantastic job and are very friendly.
The heated Swimming pool is an asset to the site. It is well maintained, clean and with a lifeguard on duty at all times. The water is a lovely temperature with a seating area and sunbeds around the side.
The Shower block and toilets are spotlessly clean and again to the wardens credit they check them whenever they can to ensure that they are kept this way
Just a short walk into Cromer and you find an unspoilt seaside town with a lovely beach and plenty to do and see.
I can't recommend this site enough and we are planning on returning as soon as we can.
Thank You Seacroft :-)
Good improvements. But could do better
This was our second visit to Seacroft. The first since the improvements. The site enjoys an excellent position with good access to busses shops & beach etc. The new pitches are excellent.
However, It would have been prudent to increase the number of facilities to prevent the queues forming almost every day. Also whilst all this money was being spent couldn't the central grass pitch area have benefited from an upgrade to improve access & remove pot holes?

Nice short break.
This was our second visit to this site, both times with our 2 grandchildren. We stayed on one of the new serviced pitches and they are great. They are a fair walk away from the toilet block but as we were pretty self sufficient we seldom needed to use the on site facilities.
Grand-kids love the site, as usual, and were in the pool 20 mins after arriving and then every day come rain or shine, (mostly rain, unfortunately!) They were out around the site and clubhouse most of the time and making friends, no need for PS4's etc and plenty of fresh air too. We managed to chill while they were busy so that was a plus.
The site was busy but not too noisy considering the month, shame about the weather but can't do much about that.
The staff were all pretty friendly, when we saw them and the site was kept very tidy.
Not the cheapest site to be fair but made up for with the additional benefits of the pool / clubhouse / location, easy walk into Cromer and the sea.
Overall, a good break for us and the kids. I'm sure we will return.
Enjoyable but room for improvement
This was our first time to this site and we will deffinately visit the site again as it has some great facilities (entertainment, swimming pool, restaurant) but i believe there are some areas which could be improved to give this a 5 star rating.
I would like to point out though that the wardens were very helpful and kept the site in a good order, however physical changes to the site need to take place to make this more efficient such as an additional toilet block. On several occasions it became apparent that women had to que for lone periods in the morning to get a shower prior to the closure at 1030 for cleaning. This is due to only a small amount of showers for a considerably large site which looks like it has been expanded with a service pitch area. Either the cleaning times should have been changed to allow more time in the morning but i honestly don't believe this would resolve the issue entirely and that an additional toilet/shower block should now be built. My other point would be the dog walk or should i say an 80m stretch with a bend in the middle. Although it meets the objective of being called a dog walk to allow somewhere for the dog to do its business, it is not really a walk and you get more exercise from walking offsite or around it. If this was expanded out onto the adjacent field a bit and fully enclose, this would be perfect and may enable people to let their dog off (if the site allows) to get some exercise. A final point linked to the field next to the dog walk is the field which allows tents around the edge. I believe this is meant to be a play field but i honestly don't think this is ideal for children to either play football or cricket, rounders etc due to the tents around the edge, thus it was not really suitable or used. I understand the club may want to make money from tents and broaden its appeal, however if the dog walk was extended into this field and the field was then allowed for ball games rather than tents, then i believe this would appeal more to families and make this a top site like Hillhead in Devon for example. Well to finish, although these are our points, we must stress the site is very nice and perfectly located for such a lovely seaside place. Although the weather was not ideal, we still did some crabbing off the pier (got some squid from the local monger) and went on a canadian canoe on the broads which was good but would recommend a motor boat if your not too happy about pesky swans coming right up to you and hissing! Overall, Seacroft is a good site and we will visit again, but i think there is some room for improvement to make this one of the best club sites for families!
Two pleasurable and relaxing weeks
My wife and I have just returned on 23rd August from two weeks at Seacroft with our eldest two grand-daughters. This was our first time at this site and our second week coincided with Cromer Carnival week which made for a lively and very noisy/busy/congested week. We were blessed overall with fantastic weather but being so close to the carnival site did make it noisy often well in the night. The swimming pool is great but limited by its size and depth. Sometimes had to be closed to new swimmers for a while due to the sheer busyness of the site. The 20 new pitches this year add to the feeling that the one main toilet block has trouble coping at peak times. The restaurant is brilliant and the food consistently good and ideal for families of all ages. The entertainment was very loud but contributed to the ambiance of the site. The dog walk is of poor size but at least there is one. A little further up the road towards Cromer there is a large piece of rough common land with pathways which is ideal for dogs and our site was full of them in all shapes/breeds and sizes! I have been to a few Caravan Club sites and this one is certainly different and less stodgy with very friendly people and professional wardens doing a great job. The surrounding area has a lot to offer with East and West Runton beaches being particularly attractive for families and dogs alike. We have a labradoodle and she loved it all as did we. If only the site was of a larger size with a little more spacing between vans and a grass area for children to play on....!!! Will certainly consider returning next year.
Best Holiday Ever!
Yet again a fantastic holiday at Seacroft. Once again the Wardens were very helpful and friendly. Especially the new Assistant Wardens who were very accommodating! As were Sarah and her Bar, Waiting and Swimming Pool Staff who were all once again friendly, polite, helpful and efficient. The Hypnotist was fantastic and my husband and I have never laughed so much. The pool, club house and washing facilities are all fantastic and clean. We are always happy to turn up at Seacroft, but really sad when we leave, but then there is next year so roll on booking day!!! Thank you Mark, Lynn, Mark 2, Stephen, Sarah and Team for making our holiday one of the best.

6th Consecutive Year!
This site ticks all the boxes for us!
All the Wardens do a great job of creating a real family atmosphere. Our Grandkids love the Clubhouse with Pool & Air Hockey, the playing field for cricket & football, riding their bikes and the heated swimming pool. The entertainment too is fantastic with great shows this year by Paul Robinson, Pete Schofield, Simon Phillips, Rollo & Misterfied. Resident entertainer Tara Vex is a delight, a great singer & host.
The Coast Hopper bus stops just by the entrance to the site for trips along the coast. The short walk along the cliffs to Cromer is delightful - every time.
We'll be back next year for visit number 7! Peter & Virginia.
First holiday caravan club holiday!!!
This was our first holiday in our camper van, so because of its location we chose Seacroft and we weren't disappointed! Right from the start, the very warm and friendly greetings from the wardens made us feel really welcome. The outdoor pool was great, my 5 year old loved it and it was brilliant that there was a lifeguard on duty at all times. The toilet block was clean, so were the washing up facilities, in fact the whole site was clean & tidy. We ate in the restaurant every night, and the food was lovely with a really good choice. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, in particular Tara Vex and Brian the magician were fantastic. The only one that we weren't impressed with was Jambo the clown, it seemed like she was just being there because she was being paid to do so??My daughter made lots of friends and danced the night away! I would def recommend Seacroft to anyone with a family

Seacroft, Cromer.
Our time at Seacroft was very relaxing, thank goodness for the pool which kept my grandson happy for hours, I was able to oversee him whilst taking a beverage as there was a pool attendant in situ.
Cromer is charming, the last day I was there the Cromer carnival was on which I was told lasted all week.
The clubhouse house had enterainment every evening I was there.
All in all avery good campsite.
