Excellant stay at Seacroft

We had a excellent stay at Seacroft this site is perfect in every way not just for us oldies but for any member wardens were brilliant but they will have a job repairing damaged grass pitches caused by members putting down no breathable ground sheets the way forward is hard standings. we will be using this site again .

Oct Holiday

Seacroft site is a little small and compact I booked a standard pitch expecting hard standing but these are mixed with grass pitchers which are very worn after the main season and because the site is vey popular fully booked even in Sept. Site staff are very helpful and welcoming bar facilities are excellent we have have booked for xmas and new year. In th past we have used a C L at Roughton over the last 8 years this as now closed so Seacroft will be our future site as I wish to use Club sites in future, also Crommer is one of our regular hohiday destinations.

Needs to be updated

As with a previous reviewer we agree that the current facilities can not cope with the number of pitches using the showers/toilets and this was with no one on the tent area. This then brings me to another issue, the dog walk or lack of a suitable dog walk considering the number of dogs on site, the dog walk is completely unsuitable and a real annoyance that the tent field was completely unused, yet we were not able to use the field. Why can't you enlarge the walk which would make it a much more pleasant experience for us all? The club bar food was very good, but sadly we were pushed into one of 5 squashed tables with our dogs as the number of people wishing to use these tables exceeds the number of tables. You need to increase the area and make it clear these are dog tables. Basically you need to make the whole site more dog friendly. On private sites the owners seem to do more for people with dogs to make their holiday more enjoyable. On are more positive finishing note the wardens were very pleasant and friendly.

Enjoyable holiday great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Seacroft (September 2015), the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location means you can walk into Cromer in 10 mins or visit beautiful villages and towns along the coast. If you like craft ale do visit the microbrewery Poppyland in Cromer for great Ales! The pubs such as the Wellington serve good ales and food in a relaxing environment. The site was full but on the whole it did not feel overcrowded. We used the washblock in the afternoon and evening times as they were virtually empty. Thank you to the staff team who were available and helped us with any questions. Great holiday. Will be back in November. Thanks again Cliff and Linden.

Honestly assessed

Visited this site a couple of times now and found this year that the shower/ toilet facilities were very overstretched as the site was full. This is obviously due to the 20 new pitches that have been introduced, so recommend the club look at upgrading the facilities too ! Also on both our visits we have found that the TV hook up is a very poor signal (only 20 channels) that breaks down quite often. Using our own Arial gives us over 120 channels, but this too can sometimes break up, so upgrade neede here too ! I have to mention that some of our fellow members, who are dog owners like ourselves completely let us down by NOT picking up their dog mess either in, or out of the dog walk ! I and my friend had to report this to the warden as it was all over the dog walk and he had to clean his shoes, as you could not see it after dark ! Perhaps moving the dog walk over to the parking area opposite the office, so they could be watched might help ? Finally, the colour peg system is a little confusing to most of us, as some blue pegs (no awning) are larger than white pegs (awning), which caused several conversations amongst fellow members, who saw vans without awnings on white pegs etc: Suggest the "smallest" pitches are designated Blue and others white, if not all service ones. Other than that it was a great stay.

Friendly and Welcoming

This is our third time visiting this site. The Wardens this time were very friendly and welcoming. The toilet block and showers are lovely and clean. Found no problem with being able to shower as there was always one available and the site was fully booked. We are now looking forward to our next stay in December

Fantastic summer holiday

We stayed for a superb week at the beginning of August. Lucky enough to get one of the new Serviced pitches overlooking the sea. The site was full during our stay and the main site did seem tightly packed but soon quietened down after dark. Our kids loved the swimming pool and evening entertainment, nice to have a caravan club site geared towards families. Wardens were the friendliest we've encountered on any club site. Toilet/showers were always clean and never busy at the times we used them. We will definitely return in the future.

Honest opinion

We have visited this site on several occasions in the past, this time I found the wardens to be much better than previous wardens. The site has been extended since my last visit and we found the toilet facilities to be overstretched on many occasions in the morning. I dislike the coloured peg system that has been introduced,on previous visits We have been on pitches with an awning which now have been classified as a white peg pitch i.e. no awning pitch. Come on caravan club please rethink the pitch allocation system at this site.

friendly site

First visit to this site and what a lovely surprise! From my initial call to make a last min booking (we got the last pitch due to 40s week end in Sheringham), to leaving, our visit was made extra special by the friendliness of the wardens and all on site. I must say we found these wardens to be the nicest we have come across on any caravan club site.  Thank you and keep up the smiles, they mean a lot to some of us!
