We stayed on the site from 24th october for 3 days. The site is great, a walk away from the beach a large exercise area across the road for the dog. There is a dog walk on site but its so small you cannot exercise a large breed dog on it, there is no long grass at all its bushes and trees. Which is why i marked it 3 for location. Cleanliness was outstanding and a clear 5 rating. We was kn number 39 it was so peaceful it was great. Had to leave due to home emergency otherwise would have stayed longer. The restuarant is a bit pricey, but the food was excellent and it meant we could have a proper holiday. Loved it.

Excellent site - wish we could have stayed longer

Stayed just one night in our motorhome on one of the spacious serviced pitches and wished our plans had allowed us to stay longer as we would have liked to try out the bar and restaurant but did not have time. Warmly welcomed on arrival and given the choice of the available pitches. We were on the high, eastern area of the site which was peaceful, immaculate and looked recently refurbished. The grass pitches elsewhere were looking a bit tired but I'm sure that is to be expected at the end of a long summer season. Enjoyed the church and adjacent museum in the centre of Cromer and also a boat trip to see the seals from nearby Moreston Quay (though definitely wrap up warm for this at the end of Oct). An excellent site and we would recommend it unreservedly.

Seacroft to relax!

This is the second time we have stayed at Seacroft and we were not disappointed , the welcome on arrival was second to none , we ironically picked the same pitch as before as it was free, It is always easy to set up on the serviced pitch , quiet relaxing , what more can one want . The facilities all work and were immaculately clean. The Wardens make a point of a cheerful wave when they are out and about and I suppose that is the icing on the cake . Fellow campers are very pleasant and all just seem to get on with it. My Wife and I thoroughly recommend a visit to those able to do so. Cromer is only a 20 minute walk and the Cromer Crabs are well worth buying , remember to get some ice from the seller on a hot day for the walk back to savour them!  Enjoy!

Seacroft CC site

We have recently stayed for 5 nights at Seacroft.

The overall look of the site is slightly 'commercial' rather than the typical CC site - the pitches on the main area are on the small side (some of the ‘awning’ pitches were too small to fit everything on and cars were parked partly on the grass dividing strip). The grass pitches in the middle of the site looked especially crowded. I’m surprised that the Club didn’t rectify these issues when they took over and redeveloped the site.

There were a lot of large muddy patches on the grass area, where people had placed awnings and hadn’t bothered lifting their ground-sheet.

The site has been extended quite recently and the new pitches are all serviced with a tap and a drain point.

There is good TV reception (no need to use the aerial points provided on the bollard), mobile phone reception (Three) was quite poor and the Club wi-fi was marginal but just about acceptable.

The site is in a good location for walking into Cromer (about 1/2 mile) but saying it's close to the beach is slightly misleading - it's across a busy road and another half mile to the nearest beach access.

The wardens are friendly and keep the site in good condition. There is just one toilet / shower block (although there are toilets in the club-house) and this is slightly dated but in good condition and well maintained. There is the usual lack of privacy between toilet cubicles – screens that stop well short of the floor make cleaning easy but aren’t very private. Also the cubicles were rather narrow. The gents had 5 toilet cubicles and 6 wash cubicles (never saw one being used) - why do the Club insist on providing so many of these wash cubicles?

Unusually for the CC, there is a club-house with a bar serving meals (but only on a Sunday at this time of year, I think). I believe there is entertainment laid on in the summer months. There is an open air swimming pool - unsurprisingly, not open at this time of year (October).

There are bus stops right outside the site - Cromer and Norwich in one direction, Sheringham in the other. There's a fair bit to do in the area - Cromer is a nice little seaside town, Sheringham is also pleasant, Sheringham Park (NT) very pleasant to walk around as well as two other NT properties nearby. There are lots of nice coastal villages in both directions and the Broads are further south.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the site makes a pleasant alternative to the equally pleasant (but more informally laid out) Incleboro Fields, just up the road.

October break

We decided to have a break, and found Seacroft, easy booking. Staff were very friendly and the site is very clean. The weather let us down.... but we were very happy on one of the new serviced pitches, which were very tidy. tried out the bar, bar staff very helpful and the cheesy chips were great. Would definitely recommend the site and would visit again. Dog walking area small but adequate.

Excellent site

We didn't have children with us and stayed out of season. The weather wasn't kind to us but we had a wonderful time. Close to the beach for as long a walk as you wish. Ten minute walk to the pub. Close enough to walk to Cromer and Sheringham (if you're feeling energetic). Would go again. No question. The super pitches are a little exposed so prepare for the wind if you're booked on one of them. But they're new so in time the planted shrubbery will grow up.

Overall - Good

Agree with other reviews so far. This is a lovely if compact site with great hosts and facilities. The things that keep coming up time and again either online AND in the onsite comments book are the lack of sufficient male toilets, 4 for at least how many male guests in season, 120-160? The stunning lack of responsibility from some dog owners re dog poo (this stuff can blind people). The need to purchase wi-fi accesabilty on all cc clubsites in the 21st century is mind blowing! Wi-fi is a given these days and when you're planning a day out miles from home to have to pay for the facility on top of membership and site fees just isn't on.

Nice relaxing break...........

Site lovely and clean, we are ate on site on Friday night, food was lovely. Went into Sheringham on the bus which stops right outside the site And runs about every 20mins. The new area is a good edition to the site with a good size pitch and easy to peg out.  We will be back in the spring thanks again to the wardens 10/10

Great for a break!

We stayed here for a week in early October 2015. Site is easy to find with good access. We had a service pitch which worked well, but seems that the other pitches were also appreciated by others. Clean washrooms and showers but we did not understand why everything closed from 10.30 - 12 midday for cleaning, unlike other sites where the disabled facilities remained open for use. But that is a very small gripe and did not spoil our stay. Also have to say that the bar and restaurant do not really do the caravan club justice - we went once but would not return there, although we would happily return to the site again.
