Storm Angus v seacroft

Even the wind and rain didn't spoil our short break! Spotless site, friendly unobtrusive wardens, spacious pitches to suit all needs, & who cares about wether a few of the toilets/ showers are "not in use" when the park is less than half full , it's more than adiquate, the wardens need a wind down too! Seacroft convenient for all local venues and a good bus service right outside entrance to go further afield, £3 return to sheringham or £9.50 full hop on/off as you like coasthopper cromer/kings lynne.

Upgraded, where?

Refurbished to a high standard! same as it was last time I was there, except for the new added area of serviced pitches. Adding the access roads has disturbed the power bollards arrangement by removing some, but they've not been replaced, try pitch 21! Also, I counted 6 cubicles in the gents toilets marked 'Not in Use', they were showers, toilets and wash cubicles. We almost always use Caravan Club sites as they are undoubtedly the best, but this one needs minor points sorting out. Having said that, the staff welcome was excellent as was their service and everything was very clean and tidy, to the usual standard.

Excellent location

Just back from a weekend here and found it an excellent site in a fantastic location. Bus stop at the end of the drive. Easy walk into Cromer and the beach. Only concern was the number of toilet cubicles, we were there on a quiet weekend and always had to wait for a cubicle in the mens toilet, dread to think how this would be in the peak season when both the tent field and caravan part were both fully booked. Will definitely be back in warmer weather to try out the pool.

Seacroft-Ideal location for Cromer and Sheringham

Visited out of season, Bonfire weekend and wasn't disappointed. This is a lovely site with a great welcome from the staff. It's ideally sited for walking into Cromer or catching the bus from outside the site to Sheringham. The site itself is partly terraced with some of the serviced pitches located fairly high up and whilst we were there the weather, let's just say could have been better, were open to the rain and buffeting from the high winds. A point to consider if you need to use an awning. Could imagine that this site gets popular during the summer as it has a swimming pool, club house and brilliant facilities. Hopefully we'll return again next year.

Choose Fully Serviced...

The Fully Serviced area of the Park is quite new and really neat and tidy - all hard standing with sea views on some pitches. The rest of the park comprises of a grass area in the centre surrounded by hard standing pitches. There is a Pool and Club House if you are there long enough to use them. A nice childrens play area and camping field are also on site. We have stayed 3 or 4 times at Seacroft now, both in the Summer and Winter and for us the walk down into Cromer with the Dog is what brings us back. There is a nice Cafe half way if you need a coffee and a slice of cake!! Cromer itself is a lovely little seaside town full of little shops, cafes as you would expect. Seacroft is a lovely site and we will continue to return.

Seacroft - what a delightful sight.

Arrived after office had closed on a very wet October evening. Before I had time to ring the warden, he was there with details and got us onto a pitch so quickly and we were settled for the night. The next morning I went to see the wardens and found them so friendly and helpful. The pitch was a standard pitch and there was so much room. Next thing I knew my wife asked if we could stay an extra night and there I was staying 5 nights instead of 4 (this was a first for any site as we only usually stay for 3 nights max.) So close to Cromer and the bus service was good with stops just at the entrance. The site was very clean and tidy, and we were sorry when we had to leave to go home. All in all a wonderful week and would have liked to stay longer

Lovely site only road noise spoils it

Stayed for 3 nights in October half term at this lovely site, ideally situated on coastal road approximately 15 minutes stroll from Cromer. The site was clean and tidy and although we didn't use the bar and restaurant, they did look nice. We had a serviced pitch which had all facilities although looking at the non serviced pitches, I would be happy to pitch up on these too. for those considering visiting, I would suggest a pitch as far away from the road entrance end as possible, as this was the only negative (road noise during the night) of our stay. If we were to visit again in the future, I think it would be during the summer months when we could take advantage of the on site swimming pool and visits to the beach, although the children's play area kept ours entertained for a while.

october visit

We had a grass pitch, first time for years, but no problem even though the weather was very wet at times; almost sea front,  sheltered and nice site, restaurant (and pool in season), easy walk into Cromer. North Norfolk is very attractive even in difficult weather, just take appropriate clothes. It is a birdwatcher's paradise. The facilities were not just spotless but warm! A real bonus out of season. Friendly helpful wardens, a lovely fews days away.

Great site

We stayed here in October 2016 for 8 nights. The wardens gave us a really warm welcome and the site was lovely. Facilities were always clean and tidy. Nice easy dog walk and a just a short walk to the beach and Cromer. It was great having the bar on site, the food was good and quickly served. There's loads to do in North Norfolk and we'll certainly be back.
