What a wonderful site with great friendly wardens!

Just returned from a lovely stay at Seacroft! We have never been to the site before but will definitely return as the facilities are kept spotless, the site is clean and tidy, the wardens are extremely friendly and helpful and the clubhouse was great in the evenings with family entertainment and good food! We have a young family and the site is very family friendly and only a ten minute walk into Cromer. Paul and Gill the head wardens are lovely people who really care about helping people and maintaining and improving the site! Now planning our next trip, which will be soon!

Just Gets better

Spent three nights at Seacroft and I have to say that it was the best stay yet. Paul and Jill (wardens) are really making a difference. The welcome was very warm and before 12 noon (this has only happened once ever in the past!). Fantastic welcome having driven for three and a half hours (thank you Jill). The facilities also seemed even cleaner than in past visits. Both Paul and Jill were friendly and approachable but had a great sense of humour too. Keep it up guys, hope to see you again next year.

A gem of a campsite

We only stayed for 2 nights march 20th-22nd, it's a lovely camp site and very clean the shower blocks were heated which was lovely, the wardens very friendly and helpful, we ate in the club house both nights and food was very good. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Very friendly staff

First day of the season and the site was quiet as you would expect, arrival was smooth and easy, We had phoned ahead due the the size of our Motorhome and were put on a slightly longer fully serviced pitch which was great. My husband used the showers and said they were great. The only thing which would have made our stay more enjoyable was a little more information on the way to get to the beach as we definitely took the scenic route on day one and then on the next day went the other way out of the site as directed by one of the wardens and it was much quicker, a little map would have been good. Just one more thing, would it be possible to have a blackboard or similar with tide times on? Just a thought but certainly not a complaint!

Pre xmas break

Had a short break mid December 2016 before the madness called Christmas began. Lovely site and the staff were brilliant, 10 minute walk into Cromer & 10 minute bus ride to Sheringham(bus stop right outside the gate. The clubhouse was very quiet(mid December)but plenty of beers on tap And happy hour from 5-9pm!!! All in all a very well kept site & the clubhouse,Cromer&Sheringham all dog friendly.

Site with Clubhouse

Enjoyed site except clubhouse. Site is in great location with pitches which are a little tight to get onto. The clubhouse is a great looking facility, but that is where it ended. No atmosphere through lack of customers coupled with staff that were not very friendly. No beer on tap, but a couple of lagers at unreasonable prices for a club for members. The food was only just eatable.

Seacroft in early December

The drive/tow to Seacroft is easily manageable for novice tuggers or Motorhomers' of any size. However, do note there is a length restriction of 8.5m at Seacroft – if you ring and check they may be able to accommodate slightly larger units (we are 8.73 twin tag Auto-trail Comanche and fitted in fine). The last mile through Cromer’s High Street requires your full attention; but once on the sea view approach road you have a wide area to swing into on arrival. There are two arrival lanes in reception. In our experience of checking in at Seacroft, this was typical Caravan Club – warm, friendly and efficient. The site is easy to navigate and pitching is and easy task. We chose pitch 106. Although this pitch had a view of the sea it has a neighboring cockerel that chatted at three in the morning, so you have been warned!!! Service pitches have a central rear drainage point – so you will need a 2/3-meter waste pipe. Depending on the pitch your taps will be left or right. There is one toilet block (if this site is full I would think this block would be very busy), kept to the typical clean Caravan Club standard; plus two excellent Motorhome service points – both had drainage points on both sides and the new Motorhome service point has a drainage grid. Water pressure on this site is excellent, so filling an Aqua roll or Motorhome water tank takes no time at all. The bar. At this time of year the bar we found that the bar was part functioning – only some draught drinks were available. Some may say close the bar, if stock is not to be ordered to have a full functioning bar; but hey there was still lager, cider and wine and this area was pleasant although of course quiet as there is no entertainment during this time of the year. Pool and ice hockey tables, comfy sofa and an additional seating area makes this a nice area to enjoy drinks and a reasonable menu – steak, fish, pizza, etc. Or, Cromer town centre is a right turn out of the site and reasonably level .7 of mile walk. Great fish & chips, market, curry house and pubs. Would we stay again at Seacroft? Yes. Would we stay at Seacroft in the busy season? Most probably not; as we’d prefer a quieter venue. See you next year…..

Winter warmer

Just had a couple of days here ,lovely part of the world .there are some excellent walks either along the beach or on the coastal path .Handy having the clubhouse on site now that it's dark nights, enjoyed a nice meal ,dogs welcome too . Prefer this site out of season much quieter but if you have children it's ideal in season .

Very nice but ...

First time here. Nice site, convenient, bar very nice, facilities good ... except don't expect to have to queue for shower and toilet in morning in late November with site not full just because a number of cubicles have been closed up as "not in use". Otherwise an excellent site.

Great short break

Just had a short break at Seacroft, friendly wardens, clean toilets, good to see that extra serviced pitches are now available, food at the restaurant was first class and we ate there both nights, we look forward to going again though we would not go in school holidays as I think it would be far to noisy, all in all a very good site.
