We have stayed at this site many times as we love the area. We picked a serviced pitch at the top of the site which had marvellous views of the sea. Unfortunately we found that they are also at the mercy of the weather. Also a number of us up here found that we had a problem with the tent pegs. Although they were difficult to put in they came out very easily with the slightest movement so a number of us had to take down our awnings. We felt the ground had not been prepared properly on these new pitches. For this reason we decided to move pitches and the lady warden was so very helpful and identified a serviced pitch on the lower part of the site which was due to become available that we could move to. No problem with the tent pegs down there. All the wardens were marvellous - helpful, friendly and efficient. The facilities were immaculate but we felt that they could do with more showers and toilets as they can become very busy when the site is full. There is so much to do in the local area I don't know where to start!! Cromer is such a lovely town with lots to do, one of the best piers. wonderful fish and chips, lots of cafes and a wonderful church with a tower that you can climb so you get great view of the surrounding area. Sheringham Park is wonderful as it Felbrigg Hall and Bickling - all National Trust. Sheringham is also a lovely little town with the added advantage of the steam train - The Poppy Line. There is a really good caravan accessory shop in West Runton should yo need anything. Although a few 'niggles' we shall definitely be back again
EXCELLENT CLUB SITE
We stayed at Seacroft in May 2017 and what an EXCELLENT stay we had and it was all down to the Wardens Gill & Paul. What a lovely lovely couple they are. It was good to see them going about the site on an evening and talking to us the visitors as only too often we never see the wardens other than booking in! They were always there if information was required about best eating places etc Gill and Paul are certainly a real credit to the Caravan & Motorhome Club, keep up the great work guys. We will be back!
1st visit to this area
1st visit here last week
After a 5hr trip to Cromer it was nice to visit this site @ 12:01 - couldn't have planned it better. However the staff were over busy as there were loads trying to gain access, so they just took the membership cards. After we got to our pitch we saw a label that said we'd have no water for a day (some work being done) perhaps this should NOT be a school half term!. The food (local restaurant )& pool (local but small) & weather & location were really good. We are a family of 6 so doing something each day is always a chore. Recommend the beans seal trip, Wrexham boat trip & the train trip from Aylsham. Site wireless was good as I have an iboost that we all log on to then the club wifi

This is our second visit to this site. For motorhomers it is ideal as you can walk into Cromer or take one of the very regular buses from immediately outside the entrance to either Cromer or Sheringham. Since our last visit the site has been extended with 25 extra pitches. Whilst this section is lovely it is a shame they are all the more costly serviced pitches on an already fairly expensive site. It would be nice to see some more standard hardstanding pitches. One excellent feature of this new area is the new open grid motorhome service point. Don't quite understand why the one near to reception was not also converted? Another change from our last visit is that there site wide WiFi. The downside is that without my booster aerial I found it would drop connection quite a bit. The site was busy which may have impacted on that. We again enjoyed a nice meal in the site restaurant which was reasonable value and the youngster at the bar very friendly.
Friendly site
The wardens are very friendly, helpful and hardworking. The site is beautifully kept and shower blocks warm (this doesn't happen everywhere). We were disappointed with the dog walk, in fact it is more of a dog scuttle - I have suspicion that the area was made smaller to accommodate the tent field. Perhaps, as another reviewer has suggested, the gate could be re-opened at the other end to allow a through passage.
This site is well positioned to visit the NT sites at Fellbrigg and Blickling, Blakeney and Cromer itself. However, I would advise looking carefully at the map before booking. I was expecting a sea view from the site, my husband had done his homework and so wasn't disappointed by finding ourselves in an urban environment with a view of static caravans. Despite the friendliness of the wardens and the excellent shower block the site is probably not one to which we would return as a couple with a dog.
One unexpected find was the Constantia Cottage Cypriot restaurant in E.Runton - lovely meal in relaxed family run restaurant.

Another good club site
This site is in a excellent location for the North Norfolk, Cromer & Sheringham.
Apart from the weather (Very cold East Wind) we enjoyed our stay here, excellent facilities, lots of hot water, lovely staff and an on site bar and restaurant serving a good range of food at acceptable prices
For us the only down side is the dog walk, not really a walk just a short path with only one way in and out. Thus dogs are confrontational when passing in such a narrow way. An exit at the far end of the path would help. However there is common land about 100 Yds from the site along the main road towards Cromer.

Back Again
Just arrived back after our second time at Seacroft. Had a brilliant week even though the weather was changeable. On arrival I was met at reception by a lovely lady (sorry your name gone clean out of my head) and I inquired if a service pitch had come available as one was not when I booked. One had so we paid the extra few pounds and settled in. The site Guy's had the place neat and tidy. The showers/toilets were clean and warm. The site was busier than last year. There was quite a turn round going on through the week so we saw pitches change and new faces come and go. In the club house the team in there were very friendly and the food and the service was brilliant. It's a brilliant site to explore around the area either on foot or to drive to places. Cromer is about 25mins walk. You can catch the bus at the site entrance in to town or to Shearingham and get a ride on the steam Train. We will be booking here again next year for definite.

Our third attempt...
Our first visit but our third attempt at getting there. Beautifully kept site, clean and welcoming. On arrival we met the guy doing basic repairs before entering the reception area. Friendly guy and obviously proud of what the site is. Two ladies on reception were incredibly helpful too. Amenities were spotless. About an hour away from Great Yarmouth and the broads tours, both of which brought back amazing memories from my childhood (one of my reasons for visiting Norfolk again). Only had one meal in the restaurant on site but the food was cooked well and they dont hold back on the portions either, couldnt managed a desert. Great place and loved every day we spent there.
A Great Site for Visiting the Norfolk Coastline
Our first visit and we've booked to return in July.
We had one of the new serviced pitches which are quite, peaceful, spacious and well maintained with a good view towards the sea.
The staff on site were great and the facilities were excellent.
It's about a twenty minute walk into Cromer town centre but you can off course catch the bus outside of the camp site and in addition to local buses The Coast Hopper takes you along the coast in both directions meaning that you can leave the car or motorhome on-site and enjoy a pub lunch or a restaurant nearby that specialises in local Cromer crab, lobster and oysters.
