We found this site, but only just, the signage is poor so we missed it the first time.
It's very shady, many trees which makes many of the pitches dark, in addition, if it has been raining, then the grass pitchs can be very muddy. You will need chocks as the site slopes in all directions.
The facilities are good, clean, sweet smelling and the water is hot, but only one toilet block for the entire site.
staff were very helpful, but beware of the approach, the lane leading down to reception is narrow.
a great place to stay
we arrived and got a very warm welcome by the wardens. We picked our pitch(pitchs a good size) and even though they had heavy rain the pitch was in good health. The showers n loos were spotless even after the rain.this is the best site we have been to so far.some caravan club sites we have been to I will not leave a review.there not worth my time. I give this site 10/10
Relaxing
When we arrived we received a very friendly warm welcome.
It was a relaxing 4 night stay. It was open doors weekend so thursowe visited Wilton House as it was free entry day.
Friday we travelled to Marwell Zoo brilliant day out to do a lot of photography
Saturday we went into Salisbury using the park and ride..used our bus pass montpesson house was on the open doors visit free entry day.
When we left the wardens thanked us for our stay and wished us a safe journey home
Disappointed
Wardens helpful and services clean and tidy.
Disappointed that whilst there is a local bus service not far from the site buses are so infrequent there was no time at a destination before the return journey had to be made. The site is surrounded by major roads and only one walk available from site and that required some time on the road.
Access quite tight when we were there as the bushes needed cutting back,
motor home service point very short for dumping waste.
Wardens
We arrived by tow RAC.The warden was very helpfull in directing RAC to Pitch it was perfect as requested a disabled pitch .My partner had explained why tow was required on caravan ,car had no indicators when van attached so needed car to be left at garage for work to take place. The warden offered her service to pick us up from garage when we took it for repair.
The site is excellent ,spotless .Showers are cleaned to high standard.the pitches are well kept .We will be back 2016.The site is well placed for things to do and sea.
Thank you.
Great site...
Good site very helpful staff, it's just off the Beaton track and not near any shops so need to be prepared to travel, however we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend.
1 night stopover
Booked in last minute as we were passing through. Site was easy to find with map and site directions from book. Site very clean and tidy and could choose our own pitch - all good pitches and views over countryside. Showers were clean, warm, with plenty of hot water, had to wait though as there are only 3.
All facilities and tv reception was good too. Wardens excellent, would definitely stay again.
Just relax and enjoy
We spent 7 nights over the bank holiday weekend. Visited a number of local attractions including Stonehenge, Salisbury etc.
The facilities on the site were immaculate, and the friendliness of the wardens first class. They made us feel very welcome.
Definitely recommend this site as a stopover or for a longer stay.
It does not have all the facilities for children, but the the children there were made to feel vey welcome as well.
Salisbury Club Site
Used this site as a "stopover" en route for Dorset and would happily return again and stay longer. A warm and helpful welcome, well kept facilities, and a decent dog walk adjacent to the site.

Nice site
Stayed for 2 nights, sadly it rained most of the time which was a shame as the views from this site are amazing. Quiet and well kept with friendly wardens
