The staff are lovely. The toilet blocks are lovely and clean. It is on a busy road and if your near the entrance you can hear the traffic clearly. Aldi McDonald's kfc and matalan were right outside the site. Very handy for this. I enjoyed staying here. There are no good bike rides unless you go into Bognor along the beach.
Out of Season at Rowan Park
A very clean and well maintained site with nice level pitches. When first set up it was probably in a very lovely rural setting but sadly over the years the area has been developed, handy for shops and take aways but means there is constant noise (day and night) from the surrounding roads. The staff are very friendly and certainly do an excellent job. Overall an enjoyable stay especially as we were there to visit elderly parents who live nearby in North Bersted.
Nice site
We stayed for a week here and enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient for shopping with the Lidl supermarket just across the road.
Good old Bognor!
The site is immediately adjacent to a busy roundabout, and has constant traffic behind trees on two sides. Having said that, the location is good, being 200 yards from LIDL, and only half a mile to a big Sainsbury, and Tesco, which offered cheaper diesel.
Town visits are well worth the effort. Tip: If you have a car or smaller campervan, you can obtain a parking disc for just £1, which then allows 2 hours free parking many times over in 3 handy shoppers' areas. For a larger vehicle, park on the seafront for 90p an hour. Of course, you can walk into town, but it's a bit of a way, and there are bus routes.
The site itself boasts an excellent toilet block, the kind with actual doors on the privacy cubicles, and was much appreciated. Unfortunately, it's one of those that requires key entry, and you have to remember to take that with you, or risk being locked outside, er.. again!
Pitches close to the facilities, (and away from the roads) are at a premium, so don't always expect to be close-by unless you arrive early, and even then, you'll need luck on your side.
Rowan Park is well worth visiting however, we had a good little holiday there, and you should too...
Rowan Park
The site is very handy for the bognor town centre. The toilet and shower block is in the centre of the site and is very good with plenty of hot water. My nine year old liked it because it has wifi. Unfortunately if you are pitched near the entrance to the site all you will hear is the traffic from the main road which is only a few metres away. I think the Caravan Club should look for a new site when the current lease runs out in 2020.

lovely break
Although there is noise you can just turn over and think how lucky you are not to have to be in it. Pleasant and good location used the shops a lot, good choice of supermarket! We were more frustrated by the amount of traffic on the roads to almost everywhere we tried to go to, obviously we are not used the busy south coast, but we saw a lot and had a great break. Thanks to helpful and smiling wardens.
Third time here
Cannot rate this site highly enough. Friendly staff immaculate amenities and close to most places in West Sussex if you so desire. Ok a bit of traffic noise but coming from London I personally could not sleep if there was no noise. Will continue to use this site.
An October visit
We agree with the other reviews about the traffic noise, it is bad and on two sides of the site. Not a problem during the day if you go out but not conducive to a lie in in the morning. The wardens are great, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The site is also up to the usual club standards. Bognor is somewhat run down in the town centre but there are lots of places to visit not too far away.
Oh, the traffic!
This is a nice site and the facilities etc are of the usual high Club standard. I think a few more guard standings would be welcome. There is a retail park across the road which is convenient and it's easy enough to reach the sea front. The major drawback is traffic noise. The site is bordered on two sides by busy main roads and at rush hour the noise is bad. At night the boy racers with booming radios frequent the area. Not a place for peace and quiet.
The directions to the site need updating as a new road has been constructed which removes the need to turn by the Royal Oak and drive along residential streets. Instead, you take the first exit at the roundabout before reaching the pub and then the first exit off the next roundabout and you are almost there.
Back to Caravaning
After 10 or so years we both (well her indoors) decided to try a caravan again.
Can I still tow, can I still reveres onto a pitch, are c/c members still as friendly as we remember.
So we picked Rowan Park for our first weekend away as it is only a few miles away and we had been there before.
As soon as we arrived we knew we had made a good decision, the staff were great, the site is excellent and the toilet block was very clean.
We had a few problems putting up the awning due to awning rail but had offers of help within minutes, C/C members are great.
Loved our time at Rowan Park and are looking forward to our next trip away - C/C site again for us.
But we will be going back to Rowan Park as we loved it there.
