Stayed here from the 16th august for 5 nights my daughter and grandchildren were staying on Riverside holiday park just down the road so handy for visiting them. Wardens are friendly site is clean and tidy but I have never stayed on such a noisy site which is situated in the middle of a retail park which meant constant noise from traffic especially lorries. We moved pitch within an hour of arriving to try and get away from the road but even from the other side of the site peace and quite was not to be had. The seasonal pitches were in the best position so you didn't have a lot of choice. Another niggle was my husband lost his toilet key which is not difficult when you have grandchildren visiting and he had to pay £5 when leaving at no time were we made aware of this charge no notices anywhere and in this day and age you shouldn't need a key to go to the toilet the nightly fee we pay should cover any loss.
Great site
Myself and two grandchildren aged 11 and 10 spent a week on this site 26th to 31st July and have to say it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The facilities are excellent, even allowing for the toilet closure times - easy to work around. The kids quickly made friends and I had to drag them back to the motorhome for meals so engrossed were they playing in the on-site playpark. Easy access to Bognor itself via regular bus service. Also easy access to Lidls for shopping and McDonalds for the obligatory treat. As to comments someone else made re rules regarding games - if you didn't have rules you would have anarchy and in the main the amount to common sense. I would recommend this site for members with or without children.
Not what you would expect from the Family Freindly Club!!!!
Having just returned from a week at this site, the impression we received from the "Warders" (Wardens) as this felt like being in prison, was they would prefer this site to be Adults Only, children wre not respected even the well behaved ones and they way the inmates were spoken too was very disrespectful, first time ever I have experienced such an awful time on a club site. Would I visit again, definately not, not child or member friendly and the play area is virtually non-existant and there are too many rules for what games etc are allowed. Dog walk, not on site, not well maintained and only used once as we had to bathe the dog after she became covered in not so nice pleasantrys even on the lead. Not a pleasant experience from a very unhappy inmate!!

Beautiful Site
Just returned from a weekend on this site and couldn't fault it! Lovely welcome from all staff, who were very helpful. Beautifully maintained grounds and shower block, great location, ideal for visiting local beach at Bognor. Loads of shops nearby and fantastic dog walks right next door. Probably not much to do for children (no pool or entertainment) but ideal for a quiet break. Choose a pitch on the left as you enter the park if you can - more privacy and quieter at night away from the main road. Would definitely visit again :)
Good location for coast and Downs.
Booked this site as an alternative to our original booking as the weather looked better! Arrived earlier than expected as no traffic and in the rain, warden kindly let us on. Managed to get a pitch at the back of the site to reduce road noise. After the rain stopped, managed to get the awning up and dogs walked. There is a huge area in a nature reserve with paths and trees that is extremely handy just outside the barrier. The wardens kept the site clean and tidy and warned one driver of speeding. Nice to see some families as well. This site has easy links to the coast ,Downs and countryside as well as being handy for the shops! Road noise can be an issue so be advised if you are a light sleeper! The site location enabled us to do all that we wanted to do and we would use it again. Recommend the Weald and Downland museum as a good day out and the Royal Oak at North Bersted( the pink pub) for a good Sunday roast.
Very handy situation in South Coast
Very good site friendly and helpful staff and the site is well cared for. It was very conveniently situated for many interesting places including the South Downs. Great food supermarkets nearby especially the super size Sainsburys. We travelled from the site directly to IOW ferry in Southampton. We will definitely return here. Thank you to all the staff.

Better than the sum of its parts
In theory this site, on a main road, near an industrial retail park, just outside Bognor should not work. But.
The site is very relaxing with superb staff and facilities, and really relaxing.
DOG WALKING.
at the site entrance is the entrance to Acres of secure country park where it is safe to run dogs off the lead. even pleasant if you do not have a dog.
SHOPS.
It is literally 3 minutes walk across the road to a Lidl for fresh breakfast Croissants.
The main road and retail park disappear as soon as you are on site.
For us it was a last minute booking to just go anywhere sunny, However I will use this as my default quick get away.
Sandy beaches at Bracklesham, Hogwarts style castle's at Arundel.
When eating in try a Steak and Stilton pie from Turners Pies, Bognor. I am now spoilt for life, nothing will compare. (that's the Pie)
Well-Run Functional Site Good As A Base
Stayed for 9 days in July, using site as base to explore area and visit friends and family. A nice tidy site with good, clean facilities. Situated on the edge of Bognor, it is close to medium-busy roads,/roundabout and, usefully, easy walking distance to supermarkets, take-away fast food and retail shops, e.g B&Q. Halfords is just across the road, handy for simple caravan needs. In summary, it's a good base but not best for sitting out and relaxing, though those pitches on the side away from the roads may be OK. Overall, a well-run, functional site, good to use as a base.

Great Site- Bad location
Rowan Park is a really good site with lots of space . Sadly many pitches are not available due to seasonal bookings consequently we were not able to be near our friends which was the point of going away together! The down side of the site is it's location. It is bounded on two sides by very busy roads with almost constant traffic noise it's quieter in my back garden, so its very difficult to sit out and relax. What a shame for such a lovely site.

Something else?
Sorry , me again. What I loved about Chris & Stewart (assistant wardens)on this site was that in the evening they walked around in their uniform hand in hand saying hello to people . They must have been very tired after a long day but still managed to do that and check everyone was happy ??????. Personally I thought this was a lovely touch .
Best wishes Caroline & Daisy Tyler ????????????
