Good location for coast and Downs.

Booked this site as an alternative to our original booking as the weather looked better! Arrived earlier than expected as no traffic and in the rain, warden kindly let us on. Managed to get a pitch at the back of the site to reduce road noise. After the rain stopped, managed to get the awning up and dogs walked. There is a huge area in a nature reserve with paths and trees that is extremely handy just outside the barrier. The wardens kept the site clean and tidy and warned one driver of speeding. Nice to see some families as well. This site has easy links to the coast ,Downs and countryside as well as being handy for the shops! Road noise can be an issue so be advised if you are a light sleeper! The site location enabled us to do all that we wanted to do and we would use it again. Recommend the Weald and Downland museum as a good day out and the Royal Oak at North Bersted( the pink pub) for a good Sunday roast.

Very handy situation in South Coast

Very good site friendly and helpful staff and the site is well cared for. It was very conveniently situated for many interesting places including the South Downs. Great food supermarkets nearby especially the super size Sainsburys. We travelled from the site directly to IOW ferry in Southampton. We will definitely return here. Thank you to all the staff.

Better than the sum of its parts

In theory this site, on a main road, near an industrial retail park, just outside Bognor should not work. But. The site is very relaxing with superb staff and facilities, and really relaxing. DOG WALKING. at the site entrance is the entrance to Acres of secure country park where it is safe to run dogs off the lead. even pleasant if you do not have a dog. SHOPS. It is literally 3 minutes walk across the road to a Lidl for fresh breakfast Croissants. The main road and retail park disappear as soon as you are on site. For us it was a last minute booking to just go anywhere sunny, However I will use this as my default quick get away. Sandy beaches at Bracklesham, Hogwarts style castle's at Arundel. When eating in try a Steak and Stilton pie from Turners Pies, Bognor. I am now spoilt for life, nothing will compare. (that's the Pie)

Well-Run Functional Site Good As A Base

Stayed for 9 days in July, using site as base to explore area and visit friends and family.  A nice tidy site with good, clean facilities.  Situated on the edge of Bognor, it is close to medium-busy roads,/roundabout and, usefully, easy walking distance to supermarkets, take-away fast food and retail shops, e.g B&Q.  Halfords is just across the road, handy for simple caravan needs.  In summary, it's a good base but not best for sitting out and relaxing, though those pitches on the side away from the roads may be OK.  Overall, a well-run, functional site, good to use as a base.

Great Site- Bad location

Rowan Park is a really good site with lots of space . Sadly many pitches are not available due to seasonal bookings consequently we were not able to be near our friends which was the point of going away together! The down side of the site is it's location. It is bounded on two sides by very busy roads with almost constant traffic noise it's quieter in my back garden, so its very difficult to sit out and relax. What a shame for such a lovely site.

Something else?

Sorry , me again. What I loved about Chris & Stewart (assistant wardens)on this site was that in the evening they walked around in their uniform hand in hand saying hello to people . They must have been very tired  after a long day but still managed to do that and check everyone was happy ??????. Personally I thought this was a lovely touch .  Best wishes Caroline & Daisy Tyler ????????????

One lady and her puppy daisy

We were greeted and helped tremendously by the assistant wardens Chris & Stewart . This was my first stay on my own in our motor home with my puppy Daisy. My husband and I only brought it 2 months ago so we are very new to The caravan club and various sites. The site was in an excellent location , supermarkets across the road and lovely dog walks in the nearby fields.  The site was spotless and the staff worked very hard to keep it that way. My only problem was with an abusive man and his wife complaining about my puppy barking one evening. This, in my mind , was totally un justified. They also complained I was on their pitch. Which was incorrect as I had already been here a week and not moved !! . I was not that happy with the policy's and procedures in place for this type of thing, and did not feel the actual Wardens dealt with it in the correct manner, or efficiently enough. It really shook me up !! Of course this is only my own point of view as I am not familiar with the policy's in the caravan club for abusive unjust behaviour by another member. Other than that I have had a very happy, peaceful, friendly stay in a lovely well kept site.  I would not hesitate to come back and once again express my thanks to assistant wardens Chris & Stewart. Best wishes Caroline Tyler and Daisy ???? a sweet 7 month cockerpoo. Chris and Stewart made are stay happy and stress free??????.

Spotless facilities

The toilet shower block was spotless. Monumental rain but the ground was well drained, with absolutely no problems with trickles across the grass into our awning. Really easy to find the site entrance, with McD, KFC, a huge Sainsburys and Tesco all within walking distance. A warm welcome to us as first time stay on a CC site, with polite other campers, if most sites are like this I'm glad we joined!

Great site

Just returned.  A lovely site.  A little road noise, we were one row back from road.  Spacious  un-regimented pitches, bushes and trees.  We had bad weather but if the sun had shone it would have been ideal, grabbing some shad if needed.  Our two dogs enjoyed the public meadow next door which was wonderful.  We enjoyed tea & home bakedcakes at a charity get together hosted by the very friendly wardens.  A really good site and one that I would return to.

Return to my childhood.

My wife and I have just returned from a week at Rowan Park, our first time at this site, and found it to be a wonderful little site, ideally situated to explore along the Sussex coast. There is a little bit of traffic noise if you are parked near the site entrance, as we were, but it was not intrusive and we had a lovely roomy pitch. Everything you could need is close at hand with a retail park just across the road, which among other things contain two supermarkets, both with petrol stations. The whole site has a relaxed, friendly and peaceful feel, plus very pleasant and helpful wardens. I have no doubt that we will be returning again in the not too distant future!
