ideal short break

We were very pleased with site, site wardens friendly and very helpful. Amenities excellent and clean. We only stayed for 3 nights as a short break but will return. Good dog walk next to site which he enjoyed. We had read reviews of the site regarding the busy road and shopping area opposite, yes there was some noise but we did'nt find it a problem and we slept well! A nice relaxing break.

Not good

Just had four days at this site its our fourth visit. The noise was terrible from the road that surrounds the site, screeching yobbos and sirens plus HGV reversing warnings all the time. One shower was out of use the whole time, this is peak season after all. Will not be returning as there was no way to relax with all the noise. Shame. Site nearby at Littlehampton is so much better.

Friendly and well kept site

The site is really easy to find and access is good. Staff were very welcoming and informative on arrival which helped us pick a really good spot.  There is a Lidl right opposite which is great for a daily paper and fresh bread etc - huge Sainsburys just down the road.  Cycle path on new duel carriage way (2 mins from camp site) gets you into Felpham and you can then cycle along the promenade into Bognor. There is noise from the traffic but its not unbearable and the other benefits outweighed this for us.

Lovely Site

Back to Rowan Park for the fourth time. This site is a little oasis in Bogner. It is extremly well kept and very clean. The staff are excellent and there is a brilliant dog walk next to the site. If you like shopping you can walk to quite a number within 10 minutes and for essentials there are shops right opposite. The only draw back is the traffic but that it the same everywhere in this area of West Sussex. See you again next year.

NICE FRIENDLY SITE

the site is kept in an immaculate condition, the wardens are excellent and very friendly, the shower blocks and facilities are very clean, HOWEVER, please be aware that the traffic noise is very loud, the roads that are adjacent to site are very busy with heavy traffic, the main road outside the site entrance is very dangerous regarding pedestrian access to the shopping centre across the way. other than this negative comment we had an excellent stay at the site.

Very Friendly will return

Stayed at this site for the first time last week - very pleased and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Wardens went out of their way to help and were extremely friendly. Until a few years ago we lived in a village close to Bognor Regis and were aware the site was there but didn't expect it to be so green and lush. It was lovely to see the rabbits playing in the grounds every evening and morning. Yes there is noise from the nearby road but it's a main artery out of Bognor. The comment about it getting noisier is probably due to the fact that the new bypass is now open and traffic that would normally have gone through the lower route in Bognor now comes along the front and side of this site. It didn't however distract from our stay in what is the sunniest resort in the whole of the UK. Would highly recommend it and now we've discovered it we will definitely be back many times

Ideally placed site.

My wife and I have just come back from a weekend at Rowan Park. Wardens were charming and professional and the facilties were spotless but the noise from the roads was not good. We stayed here last year for the first time and it seems even noisier. It's an ideal location for touring West Sussex but we just came for a rest which we had and we realise that the club can't do anything about the noise but we will be back.

Good site, noisy location

It's a lovely site, the wardens were superb, and well maintained. Oh but the noise. We were pitched next to the bypass to Chichester so a lot of continuous Road noise.

My Stay at Rowan Park

I have stayed at this site a few times and have always found the wardens very friendly and laid back . I don't agree about the noise levels as I personally didn't have. Problem with it. I also found the shops across the road on the industrial estate very useful, if you didn't have the use of a car. Will be returning before the end of the year.

Our stay at Rowan Park, Bognor.

We stayed at Rowan Park and the site was very nice and the wardens very helpful as usual. We only stayed here because we were going to The Goodwood Festival but the location is very poor from a noise perspective particularly if you have a pitch by the main road and we had no choice. You have the A29 very close by and with a business park across the road there is just constant traffic noise throughout the day and into the night, take it from me the traffic noise starts very early and finishes very late. From our pitch we could smell the KFC which was directly opposite in the business park. We are not planning to go back although perhaps if you were on the other side of the site the problems would not exist?
