fantastic

Lovely restful place, ideal for a bit of retail therapy , lots of places to eat within walking distance. ideal if you have dogs as there is a fantastic brook behind the site to walk dogs. I must say the two guys in the reception were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. sorry guys cant remember your names but both were fellow Northerners. well done guys we will be back soon. Only thing i would say is please can we have a bigger play park.

Short stop over, close to the coast

We didn't read any reviews before arriving here, but having now read a few I can agree with the traffic noise. If your used to it, it so disappears from your ears, and we were right next to the road.  A small site but plenty of space on most pitches. Large washrooms kept spotlessly clean as are most sites.  Plenty of shops, take always nearby and the beach is only 2 miles away.  I will be back next year.

Very nice site, let down by the noise on the A29!

We stayed here the other weekend, and the site is very nice, not too large, lovely clean bathrooms, flat, spacious pitches, and the 2 chaps at Reception were extremely pleasant and chatty! The MAJOR downside is the A29 running alongside the site! Some people may sleep through traffic noise - my hubby and I did not! It is only a short stretch of road, between 2 roundabouts, but cars seemed to race along, even in the wee small hours! We were in pitch 23, right next to the road - if you went over the other side of the site, I expect it would be a lot quieter. You are right opposite a Lidls, Halfords, McDonalds, KFC, etc - plus Tesco and Sainsburys along the road towards Bognor. Just a shame about the darn traffic!

Great for grandchildren

A good base for entertaining grandchildren. 10 mins by car to the beach at Aldwick (the nice end of Bognor) and visits to Arundel Castle, Tangmere Air Museum and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with Victory, Warrior and a really excellent display of the Mary Rose as well as the tallest climbing wall in Europe to keep them entertained. KFC and Lidl within 100 yards to feed them. A bit noisy from traffic but this kept no one awake after a day of activity.

Great Weekend

Recently back from our first visit to Rowan Park, we were a little anxious about the weekend having read some of the reviews concerning the traffic noise. We needn't have worried, yes the road outside was busy but to be honest after a few minutes there we stopped noticing it and it certainly didn't disturb our sleep. We found the wardens very friendly and helpful and the facilities were perfect. Friday evening and a quick dash across the road to KFC - a lovely treat because we rarely do the fast food thing but heck, nothing wrong with an occasional treat is there. Great weekend - we will be back! ??

Disappointed

Stayed here in June staff did not have a clue as my brother in law had his electric bike stolen off the rack on the back of his camper and when we informed them they did not have any cctv or even the number for the police,as the site is open to members and non members it begs to say why we have to pay for membership as it was so easy for anyone or anything to get in or out will not be staying here again very disappointed.

Always a pleasure

This site is home from home. The wardens are helpful and friendly. I am a regular visitor. It has all the amenities close by albeit  it is situated on a very busy main road but it doesn't deter us from coming back again and again. Very accommodating if you have a disability. The shower blocks are always nice and warm and very clean.
