Excellent site

We spent 3 nights at the site last week and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Great location, facilities were excellent and warm welcome from the staff on arrival. Only issue was the quality of the Wi-Fi which was intermittent, extremely slow and frustrating. In the end we simply gave up trying to get online having spent our £10. Suggest to anyone wanting to get an efficient internet connection; go up the road to the local pub and buy a pint. Same cost, good beer and Wi-Fi works a treat!

spent three nights last week. it is a lovely site and a credit to the wardens. hope the new wardens keep up the good work. It is many years since we last visited and the updated toilet block is superb. As mentioned in other reviews the pub nearby is very good with excellent food.we wont leave it so long to return. Well done to all concerned.

Our 1st visit to Putts Corner

We've just returned from a 3 night stay at Putts Corner CC site, what a Little Devonshire Gem.  The site is set in amongst tree lined rows, with little cul-de-sacs with pitches off the main site road. The facilities are spotless, with the showers having under floor heating. The Wardens & Deputy Wardens are very friendly & helpful, and the local Hare & Hounds pub serves really good food (best to book). We will return, thank you all Wardens for keeping a lovely site.

Return for 3rd visit

This was our Autumn visit having been previously in Spring and Summer. The temporary wardens were very helpful but had been left with one wash block closed and no bread in the freezer, also newspapers not available. This was disappointing as we changed to a motorhome from a caravan without transport. This was a week prior to half term! We enjoyed our visit and will certainly go again as the dog walk is excellent and the woods amazing. The pub is as good but very busy and you need to book early especially if you take the dog, who was looked after with a bowl of water.

Good place to stay

Nice tidy well maintained site with friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant walk to local pub which serves good food. Pick your pitch to avoid to many shadows from the trees if you enjoy the sun.

Fond memories

As winter approaches, I look back with fond memories of some wonderful caravan holidays my wife and I enjoyed during summer 2016. The easy to access, Putts Corner was one of our favorites, a lovely site with super facilities, friendly wardens, a terrific pub within easy walking distance of the site, a bus stop across from the pub with access to most areas. We were blessed with beautiful weather the whole stay, which helped us enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas, we loved, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer, and Devon in general. We fully intend to visit Putts Corner again, and highly recommend it to all our fellow travelers.

Very Enjoyable Week

We've just spent a lovely week at this excellent site. It's very well looked after by the wardens. The toilet block has underfloor heating which was superb. Very good dog walk and walk to the pub too. Lots of places to visit such as Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. Weather was very good for 5 of the days so we were able to sit in the sun. You do need to get a pitch that's not too affected by the shade from the many trees.

Another good experience

well done to the wardens here, who keep the site in immaculate condition. They were also very relaxed about our wish to change pitches to a sunnier site. Of course that was the last we saw of the sun, but that is the UK weather for you and a small price to pay for living in this country.

Quiet gem with easy access

The sight is located in a mature wooded area( some trees need a trim!) and is well layer out and staff helpful. The access to the site is via good roads which is a change for that part of the world. We used a full service pitch which worked smoothly for us although pitches seemed closer together than normal but nicely stepped and level with no need for ramps. Toilet blocks were the best and kept beautifully clean. The wooded path through to the Hare and Hounds was a blessing and the pub itself was excellent. We will return as local areas such as Sidmouth and Exmouth are a treat.
