Will definitely stay here again

We booked this site to be near relatives for a get together, and were we glad. Knowing the area, I used the j28 exit as it was well into the evening. I would not have risked it earlier with heavy traffic because of the numerous narrow areas nearer to Honiton. I used my sat nav and had no trouble finding the site. The site was really lovely. Good sized pitches and very well maintained. The toilet/shower block at the higher end was scrupulously clean, and I assume the other probably was but did not go in. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The path to the pub was well used by us, but make sure you take a torch to avoid tripping on the roots. We only took 1 the first time and it wasn't sufficient in the narrow areas. The site is nicely placed for Honiton and The coast at Sidmouth, and not too far from lovely Exeter. There is good shopping in Honiton with a medium sized Tesco, Aldi and Lidl and I believe a Co-op as well as all the usual high street butchers, bakers, greengrocers, coffee shops and restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would use the site again without a second thought.

Excellent Site but directions to it need extra info

We stayed here over Easter. Excellent site - we had been here many years ago and the improvements since then are very noticeable. This was the cleanest toilet block I have seen although parents do need to teach some children how to flush a toilet. Lovely to have no music in the toilet block. The wardens were extremely welcoming and helpful. BUT the directions to the site do need extra information. It states, quite correctly, do not leave the M5 at junction 28 but it does not say that you need to go to junction 29 and come back up the A30 (east) to Honiton. Also the entrance sign for the site needs to be nearer to the road.

Easter bank holiday

We arrived for a first time visit to putts corner We found the wardens friendly as always the site was clean and tidy and showers and toilets very clean Be aware that this site is on the flight path from Exeter Airport and Flights pass over late night and early morning this was not to much of an issue for us We found Putts to be in a remote country location a good point to visit the surrounding area and beaches and a reletivly quite place to return to at the end of the day

First time at Putts Corner

We stayed at Putts corner for 3 nights over Easter. We had a very warm welcome from the ladies in reception on arrival...they gave us all the relevant info and we drove round and found a nice pitch...it was lovely and quiet (apart from a bit of road noise) the facilities on the site were all kept nice and clean. There's a nice little dog walk through a wooded part on the site and the pub is a 5 minute walk away...they do a lovely carvery! We spent a day in Lyme Regis and an afternoon in Sidmouth, both an easy drive from the site. Would definitely recommend the site, the wardens are all very friendly and happy to help. Thankyou for a very pleasant stay :)

Lovely site in good location

We have stayed at this site for each of the last three years in early Spring and we find its location very good - in easy reach of Sidmouth and various other coastal attractions, as well as walks and NT properties etc. The Hare and Hounds pub, an easy 5 minute walk from the site, is also great value and a pleasant option for a meal or a drink. There is a little road noise from the nearby route into Ottery St Mary, but also lots of birdsong. Facilities are excellent, the wardens friendly and helpful. Its isn't so cheap to stay on a CC site these days in the week before Easter, but the standard of service is reliably high. The site remains one of our favourites.

Lovely peaceful stay

Great access to the site and well located for exploring the lovely area. The wardens are super and the site is very well run. The toilet block is immaculate and the underfloor heating was fabulous particularly on the chillier mornings. We booked a service pitch but will book a standard pitch next time as we would like to return. The reason for this is because the serviced pitch we had was too tight; that was because the grassed area between us and the next pitch was on a bank so we could not actually walk around the front of our standard width awning. This is the second time this year we have had a tight pitch (Moreton in Marsh has some very small pitches) so if these reviews are read by the caravan club management team, please can you look at some of these pitch sizes.

First site visit of the new season

Have used the site in the past but first visit since rebuild of main toilet block which is excellent especially the heated floor! Site wardens very friendly and helpful and promptly sorted out an electrical fault on ours and adjoining pitches. Will definitely visit here more frequently.

First time here

First visit to this site overall a very nice site easy to get to, pitches are large, wardens very good. Nice area to explore but of the two toilet/shower blocks only one was open, which meant those at the top had a long walk backwards and forwards, not nice when raining. But why charge £28 per night for half the facilitys ??. That said we will return later in the season.

2017 arrived as site was opening, wardens friendly

I would recommend, but I noticed fellow members are walking their dogs off lead on site. I do not approve. I am a dog lover, but the arrogance of these members has to be believed. A stern reminder for all is needed..

Super Site

We live nearby and use the site regularly for weekend breaks. The facilities are absolutely spotless, the surrounding area gorgeous and the wardens are the friendliest people on earth.
