We have stayed her twice now and it is our favourite club site yet. My parents also feel the same.
Fantastic large pitches with space around them for relaxing and children to play. A lovely mix of families and couples enjoying the beautiful scenery and top notch facilities . Play park is brilliant for the children and the children that have been here while we have been there are well behaved and friendly. I love the van that comes in the morning selling milk and fresh orange and also the other bakery can selling bread and fresh cakes!! Penbrey park is amazing and great for dog walking and cycling adventures , the beach is beautiful and allows dogs. The taboggann and dry ski slope it's a real laugh and there is golf and a large children's play park and pony trecking. Love love love this site
We spent a week here in August with our 2 children aged 5 and 8. There was loads to do - we did tobogganing, horse riding, went to Pembrey beach, visited Burry Port, and went further afield too. The site is really well kept and the wardens are very friendly. One warden spent about an hour helping my husband fix our caravan lights (thank you!). There are plenty of toilets and showers - we never had to queue. We particularly loved the milkman, baker and ice cream van visiting every day! If I was going to be really picky I would say a few more things in the children's play area would be good, and more powerful showers - but as I said that's being really picky and the only things I can thing of to suggest as improvements! Some reviewers have mentioned the charge to go into the country park - it would be nice if there was a reduced cost, but if you're going to the beach all day then £5 entry seems fine as you'd pay this for parking at another beach. Thanks to the wardens for keeping this such a lovely site!
Just spent a great weekend at pembrey, the site was full but had a great vibe around it every night, a big thank you to the hard working wardens cant be an easy job keeping the site running as well as it does so well done to the team there hope to visit again soon, one last thing what a great flower display thanks again
Stayed here for a few days, very busy of course as it was August and school holidays. Staff were very good and friendly, but clearly over stretched. We suspect its due to cutbacks in many levels by the caravan club. Toilets and showers just too few for the numbers of people, although kept clean by hard working wardens. A few grass pitches not fit for purpose and should have been taken out of use. At over £30 per night I think members deserve better. On a broader issue the Club membership is, it seems, in decline and you really do have to get your act together to reverse the trend, otherwise we and few others we know will not re join, which is a shame. A magazine of 80% adverts and not so cheap van insurance is not enough.
Just returned from a lovely week exploring the area. Site was immaculately clean great washing and showering facilities. It was great for the kids who made lots of friends and is very family orientated. Wardens couldn't of been more helpful. Pitches are very generous we have quite a long unit which fitted on easy.
This is a great site especially for the safe cycling routes to the beach and along the coastal path to Burry Port. We stayed beginning of July and it was very quiet, unlike last weekend when it seemed like a different site with so many children riding their bikes and scooters around. My granddaughter included. She loved it. We take our little dog with us and im very careful not to let her bark . I agree with a previous comment about the number of dogs allowed per pitch. Yes one couple did have 5.

Well of all the club sites I have been on the wardens are so laid back that they may even fall over lol , the site is as you would expect clean neat and tidy and perfect for the sandy beach, would I go again yes , thanks for a great site ,
This is a fantastic site, close to the local country park and is run by friendly wardens who are happy to help. There are many sheltered/open pitches and the toilet block is kept clean. Considering the site was full it was very quiet by 9:30.
It was a pleasure to hear the birds in the mornings and the owls at night-time.
The nearby beach is ideal for families and there are many cycling routes. I would recommend the Millennium Coastal Path as it is ideal for cycling and you can cycle through the country park to get to the beach.
I would recommend the L2 Leisure Centre at Swansea which has water-slides and things to do for the whole family.
Thank you to the wardens who put all the effort and hard work into making this site a beautiful site to visit!
