Maintenance check required
We've been visiting this site for years & it still ranks as one of the best sites & locations. However, last winter's barrier upgrades leave a lot to be desired - the entry fob swipe is barely reachable and the exit push button requires disembarkation, particularly when you have your caravan in tow when leaving the site. Come on guys - this should have been tested before putting into operation.
I'm not sure about the negativity in other member's comments on the upgraded serviced pitches - they are obviously welcomed by some members who share this fantastic club.
One troubling issue with our last visit was finding none of the toilet extraction systems working(male and female in both the main and back-up facilities). the shower areas were fine, but the cubicle areas were regularly unwelcoming.We opened the windows on several occasions only to find them shut again on the next visit - surely they're not using that much electricity?
We'll definitely return but would hope that some improvement is considered in the interim.
