As new caravaners we received a great welcome on arrival. This was our second visit which naively was during the arrival of storm Hanna. Great site overall and will be back again. Last time we stayed we were pitched on one of the central loops off the main access road and when we stay next time will select this location. This last time, we stayed near the entrance to hopefully gain some protection from the expected South Westerly meaning it was a little busy with traffic. If there was an criticism at all it would be the site operates a 5 mph speed limit which very very few comply with especially when departing on checkout. If I had young children with me I would be cautious where I pitched. Otherwise would thoroughly recommend especially if you like cycling in forest type terrain
Fabulous stay
We stayed a week on this fabulous campsite. The facilities were well maintained and beautifully clean. We were welcomed and offered all the advice and assistance we required. Work was obviously being done to spruce up the site after the long Winter. We saw the Wardens working every day to improve the appearance of the site. Its going to look beautiful when all the planters are planted up and the flowers are blooming. Well done Wardens you are clearly a great team,.

Our first but not last visit.
Firstly I must compliment the wardens for the welcome, help and hard work around the site. The site is so well positioned, the Pembrey park next door has so much to offer all the family and of course a beautiful beach. Check it's history aswell fascinating.
Great stuff.
Thank you.

What a Brilliant Site
Pitches are of good size, clean, level and well maintained. Toilet / shower block are always spotlessly clean and the service points have recently been updated. Motorhome service point is fairly new. Wardens are always polite and friendly.
The access to Pembrey Country Park is through a small gate to the south of the club site. 15 minute walk will take you to the beach and there are plenty of cycle / walking paths that take you through the park where you can safely let you dog off the lead and children can walk or cycle around because there is no traffic
The road access to the site from the main road takes you over a railway bridge which is traffic light controlled, the road is then long and flat. The site entrance is on you right side which is the last turning off before Pembrey country Park itself.
It is a site my wife and I keep on returning to
Fantastic site
We stayed at Pembrey Country Park for 3 nights in August 2018 on a serviced pitch. Site is fantastic and clean with a great playground and facilities. Lovely layout of pitches and plenty of space. Look forward to returning in 2019.
Pembrey
Wa booked for 2 nights in December. The welcome was very friendly, the site very quiet at that time. The facilities were very clean. We had a lovely 4 hour walk from the site through the woods and back along the beach. The beach is miles of sand! Will definitely visit again

Lovely stay at a quiet time of year
We stayed here for four days 26 - 29 November & there were just a few others on site too. This made for a fabulous quiet time despite the weather being a bit inclement. We took our dog, who thoroughly enjoyed the local walks as did we. The wardens are absolutley lovely & so very helpful too. We will definitely return during quiet non school holiday times as can imagine it to be a very busy site during these times.
A very small point was the water pressure was a little slow at times in the shower blocks but this did not detract from a superb location & site.

Relaxing stay
We stay at this site alot as the location and wardens are excellent.
However beware of a sneaky fox who has a shoe fettish! if anyone finds a left ahd airwalk trainer can you let the club know as I caught him 'red pawed' in my awning, but he managed to escape ...
Many thanks.
Half term break
We had a lovely stay at Pembrey during October half term with our kids. It was our first use for our new caravan And this site made it a brilliant first time out. Good facilities for the caravan services. A lovely little park for the kids to play in and excellent access to the country park. We went on several cycles around the forest and along the cycle path which is extensive and well maintained. My only small criticism is there is no easy cycle access from the site onto the cycle path. Nothing major just means crossing the road and getting across a field of grass. I’m sure this is something which could be improved upon over time. Overall we had a lovely stay and I’m sure we will return at some point.
