Met by very cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. The whole site was immaculate with impressively clean toilets and showers. Pitches were neat and tidy with grass between and behind which made sitting outside very pleasent. Dog walk small but beautiful walks near by on which to take the dogs for long treks. Pub and cafe within walking distance and Wroxham just a short drive away. Everything A1 would certainly go again.
Busy Bank Holiday
Good sized pitches and very helpful and friendly wardens. A nicely kept site but not enough showers for the number of pitches. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and we would recommend a trip to the beach at Horsey. You can walk for miles along the beach or the good quality path behind the dunes with lots of seals both in the water and on the beach. Will definitely be returning.
Best Wardens ever
Over the years i have met good, bad and indifferent wardens but never any as good as this site ( Sal ) The C. Clubs best in my eyes . The sites flat and featureless but very well kept. The shower block a little small for size of site but clean and with only 4 shower cubicles it gets busy. Good public transport link outside main gate into Wroxham and Norwich overall its worth a visit and a return one just to get the greeting from Sal
Good site for visiting the Broads.
Good site for visiting Broads. Good even site. Well run, clean and tidy and friendly and helpful wardens.
Only constructive criticism we would make is the hedges between the rows should be allowed to grow higher to give more privacy to facing vans. We were also sad to see a warden strimming the hedges on the top and on the sides where we had been watching a song thrush and a greenfinch going to and fro to nests. Would be kinder to wait until the nesting season is over.

Superb Site with great wardens??
Our family stayed at this site from Friday 15th to Monday 18th May. This was our first ever caravan holiday as a family!. The moment we arrived on site we were made very welcome by the warden who was very helpful especially when I explained we were 'newbies'. Loads of advice given to us and even the offer to knock or phone if we got stuck. With the children of 7, 5 & 2 it was very appreciated that we had that reassurance. The site is beautifully laid out and the facilities were spotlessly clean and of great quality. We had a great holiday at this beautiful site which was a perfect base to explore norfolk and amazingly close to 'BeWILDERwood' which the children love........ including the BIG children!!!!.
Great first experience
Our first experience of a Caravan Club site has set the bar high! The wardens were helpful and friendly. The site was clean and spacious. The toilets and showers were impeccably clean. If the rest of the Caravan club sites are half this good then we are in for a great year ahead! ??
Friendly Wardens Greet You
My husband arrived at this site and was surprised by the happy warden Sal who came out to welcome him by name. We had a very peaceful Bank Holiday weekend which helped me recover from the nasty cough / cold virus. Our son enjoyed the playground and commented that this is now his favourite site, "can we live there in the Summer" Yes ! lovely clean facilities river walks just over the road with a café and shops. A real chill out zone. Many thanks to the helpful warden trying to fix our brake lights you saved us a lot of time instantly suggesting to check plug first. We got back on the road see you again soon. Thank you Sal and Hubby.
Added to my list of favourites
What a gem of a site overlooked for so many years. It is spacious and the facilities are excellent. The wardens are friendly and helpful. Its location allows an abundant choice of activities. Will visit again soon.
Ideal for Boat Watching
This members only campsite is situated a short walk from Ludham Bridge on the River Ant which is part of the Norfolk Broads network of rivers. Although the rows of pitches are divided by trees and shrubs the general appearance is a little bit featureless but this is not out of place with the surrounding countryside. There are 111 pitches, the majority being on gravel hardstandings but there are a few on grass. Some of the hardstanding pitches are serviced with their own water and grey waste. Electric points are conveniently placed to the pitches and the electric bollards have a co-ax TV booster system, free to use but you have to provide your own cable. Water, grey waste and chemical toilet disposal points are well distributed around the site. The motorhome service point is not far from the site entrance. Unfortunately it still requires the lifting of a heavy drain cover to allow draining of waste water tanks and access is a bit short for longer motorhomes. There is one centrally situated toilet block which is of a high standard. However I would question who thought it appropriate to position the toilet paper dispenser at shoulder height alongside the toilet bowl!!! For children there is a very nice playground. There is also a boules court next door. There is site wide WiFi which I found of reasonable speed. There is a small information hut giving details of local attractions and transport options from the site. Reception sells a few essentials as well as some camping bits.
The site is well situated for exploring the northern rivers and Broads. Horning, Wroxham, and Potter Heigham are all within easy reach offering many opportunities for excursions and perhaps the hire of a day boat on the Broads. Norwich and Great Yarmouth are also within easy striking distance. Within easy walking distance is Ludham Bridge for some boat watching and a bit further in the other direction is Ludham village which might be better for an eating out experience. Within a 100 metres of the campsite is the Dog Inn which does food but when we looked it did not seem that impressive. For those wanting to use public transport there is a bus service which runs on about an hourly basis during the week taking you to Wroxham and Norwich. For shopping there is the Bridge Stores at Ludham Bridge but would suggest this is better suited to the emergency purchase. The better option is Roys of Wroxham which has a really good supermarket.
The perfect break!
We were greeted by very friendly helpful Wardens who made us feel most welcome at this beautifully maintained site! We enjoyed a really relaxing break whilst here, the surrounding villages have some fantastic places to eat and drink and the boating activities on the Broads that surround this site are a pleasure to see! We will be back!!
