Good if you have a car

We found that we were a bit stranded not much within walking distance. Site was clean and tidy. As every site been to has been.

Relaxing week

Just got back from a week on this site. All clean and tidy with friendly staff. In contrast to some reviews, i found the wi-fi perfectly serviceable for reading the paper, websites etc, although I think I could see the repeater close by! Was given a heads up about boat hire from the boatyard close by, members get a discount and it's only a short walk.

Wow loved this site

Stayed here last summer, wardens friendly, shower blocks spotless, plenty of room on our pitch, nice walk to Ludham Bridge with our 2 dogs. Loved visiting Wroxham, North Walsham, Felmingham again, as i was born here. We will be back. what more can I say. (:

Good site, lots of facilities

Just come back from a four day break here. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Good facilities. If small quibbles - everybody did feel quite close to each other meaning not much peace and quiet. Wifi was quite slow but it is Bronze rated. Overall a good place if you want good facilities in a beautiful location.

Ludham Bridge

Just returned from 7 night stay. First of all we have to give six ticks to the staff. They were cheerful, helpful, allways on the go, and this reflects in the overall tidiness, cleanliness, and appearance of site. There are few points that dissapointed and annoyed us. The first was the way in which a few people ignored the 12noon requirement for either arriving or leaving. If we had known we could have arrived at 11am, and left our departure untill 2pm, we would have done so. The second moan is about dogs. The site requirements are that dogs are on a lead at all times, and any unavoidable fouling is immediately cleaned up, but some owners seem to think this not apply to them. Now for my big moan -- WiFi. We joined at £25 per year at the Cheddar site ealier in the year to enable us to pick up emails and so on. The WiFi worked at Cheddar but was painfully slow. Last week at the Broads site. we only managed to get a connection on the day of our arrival, but for the rest of the week had to resort to expensive mobile phone calls to a helpline, and this did not always give us a result. I will not be continuing with the WiFi service, when I could have gone to coffee shops and used their free WiFi. A service that costs £25 and cannot give results is quite frankly no use to me.

Excellent Site

We have just returned from a 10-night stay at the Norfolk Broads Site. There were six of us - 2 Seniors, 2 Adults and 2 Children. We all agreed that this was an excellent Site. OK so we had to drive a few miles to see all the attractions but that was inevitable! All aspects of our welcome and of the site were considered to be first-rate. two stood out- The two Service Toilets which ensured that nobody would be caught short and the Play Area /Boules Pitch which we used extensively. The kids thought that they were "Ace". Well done Team and thank you.

GOOD SITE

Just stayed 4 nights there and found the site to be a high standard apart from 2 issues, grass cutting needs to be sorted out on the grass pitches, i always when available take a grass pitch but the grass had not been cut for over a week and was in parts on my pitch 5-7 inches high, if a pitch becomes empty then the wardens will know about it so get in there and cut it before a new unit arrives. the grass pitches are not the same size as hardstanding, i went out for the day and when i got back a new double axle unit had parked next to me with one of the biggest awnings possible, i had no room to park a car between my unit and his awning, so large units should not be allowed on certain pitches. i will go back to this site again as i did enjoy my stay but please cut the grass on the grass pitches

Wonderful and welcoming

Just got back from our first trip to the boards. We had a lovely welcome from our wardens.Nothing was too much trouble. The site is well kept. The wardens were painting, cutting grass, trimming hedges, pulling weeds and making the site beautiful, all with a constantly full site. Lovely walks nearby, 25 mins off rd to Ludham, 10 mins to a welcoming pub, brill quiz night.Beaches, historic houses, lovely towns and villages all within a half hours drive. Well worth a visit.
