The broads

This site is getting a little tired. The toilets are immaculately clean. The hedges & trees on site are getting out of hand. There are a lot of weeds appearing on the pitches & the surpresent sheeting beneath the hard standings is coming through in places. I pulled them out & covered the sheeting on my pitch. The site is handily placed for Yarmouth & Norwich. Buses pass the site to both. Plenty of wild life reserves to go to. Picturesque villages & towns to visit. Get off the "A" roads & your in trouble. The small roads they call by ways stay off them. No better than cart tracks.

hedge cutting

as usual lots of noise from the wardens grass cutting chain saws etc . I found that the hedges on the inside of site should have been trimmed a lot more nettles sticking out from the base of the hedges waiting for you to brush by them.Any chance of putting a sign up pointing to Wroxham to the left Potter Higham to the right

Peaceful

Very pleasant site in a rural location. Decent pub a stone's throw away. Not much going on locally, and the roads are a hair raising experience for drivers, cyclists and walkers alike. Toilet block immaculate but busy. Wardens top notch.

Nice Site

Nice site in terms of peace and quiet. Didn't think there were sufficient toilets/showers though and first time I've had to queue. Site was full though but maybe the 2 service toilets could be made available all day when full? There was an unpleasant drains smell also. Site is set in hedged loops with lines of caravans both sides and plenty of water/drain points around so not far to get water. We were on a service pitch which was excellent and it was good to see the bollards had TV points. We took bikes and luckily a bike carrier as not really suitable for cycling as small bendy road with busy traffic. There's a pub walking distance but it's stark and the food was microwaved - not up to the cost charged. Nice beers but city centre prices. We didn't go back after the first night. Went to Sea Palling - beautiful quiet beach. Went to Yarmouth also but wouldn't go back there. Amusement heaven for those that would enjoy it but not for us. We thought we'd try further round the coast from Cromer (our favourite site is Incleborough) but didn't think it was as nice, so will probably not visit this site again. But, this is only our taste for the area and I would not want to put anyone off the site itself which is welcoming and well looked after.

Great site

We loved our recent stay at this site. The site is well kept and the wardens are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are fairly new and very clean, We are motorcaravanners and really appreciate an easily accessible bus route, luckily there is one right outside by the entrance to the site, goes to Wroxham and Norwich one way and Stalham the other way. There is a good shop, Bridge Stores, also very close (about 200 yards from entrance) which stocks everything foodwise you might need. TV reception okay using the bollards, wifi was good and altogether it seemed like a home from home.

Really Nice Site

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of June 2016 and really enjoyed it, had fantastic weather all week. The site is clean and tidy with all facilities you need, the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are loads of walks in the area with various watering holes along the way. The nearby villages and towns are perfect for exploration and a trip into Norwich is also a must. We will definitely be back.

Lovely site, good walks

This was our first visit to this site and we hope to return. The information on walks in the area was first class and it would be really good if all sites had the same walking guides for their local area. The Wardens were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, but we managed one pleasant walk.

Lovely site but for the wi-fi

Members for over 20 years and this was our first time here. Lovely site, well organised by helpful wardens, if you want to make use of the buses to get about they are few and far between! Use the park and ride for Norwich. Only downside, in this modern era, is the wi-fi, it's rubbish. Visit the pub 100yds away have a drink or meal and use their free wi-fi 10 times better than the airangel costing £10.00 per week on the site! Always seemed to be poor when you needed it? We will definitely come here again.

Dogs home

A well run and very clean site, WiFi is not very good and every time we go there always seems to be a lot of dogs on site.
