Booked this site just as a stop over while travelling to my Sisters, but I will certainly return soon for a longer stay.Lovely clean site & facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed on the site with friends out for the first time in their 'new' caravan on 14-17 October 2016. We pitched next to them in our motorhome - pitches 50 and 51. We opted for these to be further back from the road (which is quiet anyway)
This sight is a real gem. Up to the usual club high standard with friendly wardens working hard to ensure members have a great stay on site.
There's a cafe nearly opposite which we use for a breakfast treat. The Dog Inn pub just 300 yds up the road serves great beer and good 'pub grub'. Warm friendly welcome there.
Good for walking along the banks of the River Ant just past the cafe. Loads of wildlife including Barn Owls working the nearby fields.
A visit to Wroxham is a must. There you will find the excellent department store "Roys" if you need to buy a few extras.
We hired out a day boat from Wroxham and explored the nearby Broads and Horning. Again loads of wildlife including Kingfishers.
We will be back to this gem of a site
Stayed here for four nights at short notice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pitches of adequate size for our 5th wheeler. Facilities very good and clean. Nice to have a fish and chip van visiting twice a week. Great to have The Dog Inn just a few hundred yards down the road for drinks and food.
Thanks. Will return if in the area again.
We don't have children so have only given 1 for 'families' as not relevant to us and we have to give a rating.
The wardens were very friendly and always ready to help .The site was kept at a very high standard the toilet and shower block was clean and tidy we enjoyed our stay and will be going back again.
This is the second time we have visited the Norfolk Broads site. This time we stayed for 7 nights.
Everything is clean and neat. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit. Close to Wroxham for food shopping and cruises on the Broads. Eating out at Wroxham and in the opposite direction the King's Arms in Ludham, where caravan club members receive a 10% discount on meals (except the carvery) on production of the membership card.
We do plan to return again in the future and I certainly recommend this site.
This was our fourth visit to this site its lovely and quiet and the wardens are very friendly and welcoming. The site is well placed for Norwich and the park and ride isn't very far. There are some lovely pubs along the river and the broads. The wardens work hard keeping the site clean and immaculate its a real pleasure to visit this site.
This site is perfect. Located about mid-way between Gt Yarmouth (for the seaside) and Norwich (you must visit the cathedral) it is perfectly placed to explore the Norfolk Broads. The pitches are well spaced and of a good size. The toilets are immaculate and the wardens the friendliest we've found on this trip. There's a handy little shop just out of the site and a good pub in the other direction, both easy walks. There's a good kids playground but a poor dog walking area. That's not a problem as you can go just 100 yards out of the site to the river and walk as far as you want on good paths through the fens. If all CC sites were this good, every caravan owner would be a member. We'll be back soon.
We were greeted with a smile and were told to look around for the pitch that suited our needs and to let them know when we were settled in. The site was very clean and tidy, the nights were quiet . Toilet and shower blocks were not too far away and were clean and warm. Good location for many locations and pubs. I would recommend this site to any club member , thanks for a nice break.
