Amazing

Wow, such an absolutely stunning site and location. We arrived on the 17th August 2019 having never visited the site or area before. The views and the local area are just amazing. You can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Great routes for walkers and cyclists. The site shop is well stocked, in fact I've never seen another site shop as well stocked as this one was. There is plenty to do out and about in the area whether its visiting the motor museum the cider farm or the local pubs or popping over to the isle of wight which is also very nice as is the caravan club site there too . The beaches are beautiful also !! Definitely this site is worth visiting. We will be back there soon :)

Mitten in der Natur

Sehr schön gelegener Platz mitten im Nationalpark. Schöne Parzellen und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. 2 mal die Woche Fish & Chips am Platz. Sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Work Experience

We were visiting the site on a work experience weekend so we didn't have much time to enjoy the sites facilities. But as an incite to how much planning and the hard work is entailed in keeping a site up to the expected CAMH Club standards was invaluable. I would like to thank Matt and Tracie and there hard working team for the experience.

Fantastic!

Just spent 9 nights at this fantastic site! Brilliant base, visited so many different places to visit whilst here, even a ferry trip to the Isle of Wight. Have rebooked for next July! Staff were friendly and site was lovely and clean! Highly recommended! Thank you our favourite site so far! Lou & Gerard

Another wonderful stay

We come to this site on a regular basis as its quite local for us and we always love it here. The site is beautiful and well laid out it is a great base for all types of activities, beach, villages, horses and chilling out. The wardens are brilliant and so very helpful and kind.

Great two week stay

We have just returned after an excellent 14 night stay at this site. The site itself is very large but well laid out and with good facilities. The wardens were helpful and friendly and do a great job of keeping the site clean and tidy. The surrounding area was great for cycling with plenty of quiet roads directly from the site taking you to the nearby towns and villages. I recommend the route in to Christchurch which is very nice and an easy route on quiet country lanes. The site is just a couple of miles from the village of Bransgore which was very nice with a lovely pub called The Three Tuns which had a nice beer garden. The chip van that visits the site 3 times per week is also worth a try it was a bit expensive but very nice. The surrounding area has plenty of things to see and do a personal favourite being Beaulie Motor Musuem and if you show your club card they give you a good discount. The towns of Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington are within easy reach. All in all a great site and one we hope to return to in the future.

Perfect weekend away

We come to this area every year as we used to live here and have lots of family and friends to catch up with. This was the first time at this site as we have only joined the club this year. What a perfect place to stay! We had family over and had BBQs which everyone enjoyed. The dog facilities were great, two dog walks where the dogs were free to roam off lead and plenty of dog bins. The forest is right on the doorstep so there were lots of walks nearby as well. We had children visiting who enjoyed the park and the football field where a game was organised which a lot of other children joined in with. The site wardens were very friendly and welcoming and kept the site and facilities spotless. We will definitely be back next year and would recommend.

First visit since 2014

Pros:. Clean, friendly wardens, well kept, excellent area. Cons:. Nothing to do with the club, but 1. Speed of cars over cattle grid just outside site causing the noise to be a bit of a nuisance. 2. Children riding bikes and scooters the wrong way round the one way system. 3. Children not using the field provided to play ball games but using the roadways instead.

A good stay for us

We visited over a weekend when the site was very full. Nonetheless our experience was a good one on a good sized pitch. We weren't concerned about the site being a little "out of town" as it is well positioned on the edge of the New Forest and lots of interesting places are easy to get to by car. The site was very well run and kept and the wardens seemed to be universally good. We recommend this site.
