Excellant site

What a great place to stay, this was our first ever outing in our new to us Motorhome. we spent 2 nights over a weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the outing. The site facilities are excellent and we had no problems at all, most pitches are level, although ours (grass pitch)had a slight slope. there are aerial connections for tv on the power posts, the TV signal was very strong with the site system, showers and toilets are clean and well kept in fact so are all the other facilities such as watering and waste points etc, a credit to the wardens. the only thing we missed was that newspapers had to be ordered the day before. A great start for our future adventures.

Great break

One of the best sites we have stayed on! Staff were excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and above all friendly. The site and facilities were kept immaculately with well spaced very level pitches (being on an old airfield helps). Journey and access was also good.WiFi is a bit variable as is phone reception , however this is a small critisism. The site is well located for coast and the New Forest so will cater for many tastes and interests / hobbies. Recommend for a holiday or short break!

Gorgeous Area

We arrived on a Thursday of the May half term having spent the first part of the week in the Isle of Wight. So, the site was very very busy! Wardens very friendly on arrival and said they were very full. So choice of a pitch was limited. We wanted a grass pitch and had to have a pitch which backed onto a lane. Not the best pitch on the site as cars and lorries passed at the back of our caravan. But, to be fair there are some excellent areas and pitches on this site as it is very large and had we arrived on a different day would have had more choice. It is again of an excellent standard and the facilities were great. Lovely and flat and great walks around the site and beyond. The best thing about this site is where it is. The New Forest is absolutely beautiful!!! We drove around and saw the most amazing villages with chocolate box cottages, stopping off for a walk in many of them. So many places to go! We were amazed at how lovely it was. Close to the coast too which is a bonus. Overall we had a great time and will return again.

As good as always

Unfortunately could only stay one night on Bank Holiday Sunday but very happy to report that despite being full, everywhere was spotless as usual. A warm friendly welcome from the team of Wardens. One of our favourite sites that we shall continue to visit regularly. Well done all concerned!

A really nice site which we have visited regularly

This is a lovely site which we have visited an quite a few occasions since it opened. It is an immaculately kept site and always has been. We found the wardens very friendly and helpful which filters through the site as it feels a friendly place. Just a note for the Caravan and Motorhome club,we feel there could be a few more all service pitches for a site this size.We would recommend this site to all members. Steve and Chris Cheltenham. A First Class Site One of the Best

We are just finishing our twelve day stay at the site, on arrival we we’re greeted by the very friendly duty warden who was most obliging in helping us choose the sort of pitch location we like and gave us some good ideas as to locations worth a visit in the area. Throughout our stay the wardens have worked tirelessly (even in monsoon weather) to ensure the site is kept in a tip-top condition and the facilities are a credit to the network. A special mention to our next door neighbours Stuart and his wife (Wardens at the site) who although their motorhome was surrounded by members were happy to give advice at any time of the day even on their rest day! In retirement we tend not to visit the same location twice but the centenary site will certainly be the exception to the rule both for The wonderful National Park and the excellent overal site. EXCELENT SITE

This was our second visit to the site the wardens and staff are polite, and very helpful they are willing to assist/give advice on any issues you may have.. During our stay this time the site was nearly full and there were many children on site. taking into account the children were playing/ and riding there bikes they were enjoying themselves without making a lot of noise so the site remained quiet and tranquil. the facilities are as always exceptionally clean/tidy and are warm. As one of our local sites we will be returning on many occasions. Perfect for rest and relaxation away from a busy working life.

First Visit, In Fact First Caravan Experience

We, Harry (Dog) and I really enjoyed our brief stay, all people we met and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and peaceful. I would have preferred bigger free roaming areas for the dog, but as this was my first experience of a caravan club site, these might have been quite big on average? A clubhouse serving a few drinks and some hot food would have been good too, especially as there is not much in a short walking distance, luckily we had a bike and dog trailer and made full use of the pubs a few miles away. A doubt if this has been very helpful for others looking at the site as I know not what I talk about.
