Trees and site lighting

A good location, we've been coming here for 20 years now. The only problem is that the oldest part of the site has trees that need pruning, they are making the pitches shady and when you have a wet night the constant dripping water on the caravan roof from the trees keeps you awake. Also it will make things easier for the Wardens if they are cut back who have to clear up the many leaves. Also the site lighting is poor, in winter you need a torch to walk around the site at night.

A site that never fails to please

Have been going to Moreton for more than 10 years. The Shower blocks are always clean & warm & the wardens friendly. A good shop plus the visit twice a week of Pizza Alfresco. Short walk to town where there are plentiful eating & Drinking establishments.Large field for dog walking . Bus stop at site entrance for Stratford etc Thoroughly recommend.

10 mins walk to Moreton

Central Cotswolds location ideal if you like to be close to a town but far enough away to be quite.  Site is has two shower blocks , a quite well stocked reception and info cabin.  Plenty of grass so feels rural too.  A very nice site.

Fantastic wardens

From the moment we booked in until when we left ten nights later, all wardens were pleasant and keep the site well tended.  They sell baguettes, cakes and biscuits which were a daily purchase, the pizzas were delicious and whilst I only had chips (trying to cut down), they were tasty.  Great dog walk and now Tilly's allows dogs inside, we had an excellent lunch in the warm.  Thumbs up to the wardens, please keep up your genuine enthusiasm, it is appreciated and I look forward to our possibly 15th visit next year.

Moreton in Marsh

Really good site in a wonderful part of Britain. Moreton itself is a quaint old fashioned town with an excellent market. The club site is large but quite peaceful. Well kept this years wardens are first class and very cheerful. Facilities are well kept and modern.

Helpful Wardens

Just to say an all round excellent site but the main reason for this review is to thank the wardens for helping to locate a local Bailey dealer when we developed a problem with our caravan. With there help we located the dealer and managed to get the parts required to repair the problem and carry on our 5 week tour. Not enough praise is given to the wardens for the excellent job they do under sometimes lip biting conditions. Please members give them all a pat on the back when it's due they do an excellent job.

Lovely visit

Another great short stay on this fabulous site. Great wardens, clean site and facilities, thank you. Great location as the market town is a short walk away. Lovely self owned shops, especially the old fashioned toy shop which is quite a maze of a place and owned by a wonderful family who celebrated their golden wedding this year as well as 50 years of ownership. ~There is a small Tesco and Co-op and slightly further away a Budgens. Even closer is the Wellington Museum well worth a visit. Lovely walk through the fields, not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, to Batsford Arboretum, but do be aware that the meadows are grazed by both cows and sheep. Nice cafe at the arboretum, but rather crowded regardless of the of the weather - indoor and outdoor seating, erring towards the pricey side BUT proper food cooked on the premises. There are also lovely walks, despite the walks folder not containing local walks, they all require a drive to another starting point, in the area and with the assistance of an OS map it is easy to follow a circular route with little use of roads. Visiting wood fired pizza cooking is lovely and they call a couple of times a week. Fish and chips arrived on Saturday, I didn't see any publicity for this and thus we didn't try them so can't comment. Huge fully enclosed dog walk and large play area which includes goal posts and a boules pit. Lovely site, we will be back.

Fully Enclosed Dog Walk

I used this site for one evening before traveling to Autosleepers in the morning for repairs. I only wish I could have stayed for longer. A lovely site with great facilities within easy reach of shops/pubs/walks. The FULLY ENCLOSED dog walk is fantastic !!! Highly recommended and yes, I will be returning.

Great Site

As ever clean and quiet unless along the road edge and even then not exactly the M1 other than the occasional lunatic driver. The staff as always very helpful and friendly. All amenities are spotless. Thank you

Motorhome and dog visitors

Visited Moreton for the first time and very impressed with the location of this site, friendly and helpful staff.  Easy walk to the village and the Arboretum, nice tea shops and pubs.  Excellent dog walk, enclosed field where you can let your dog off lead for a runabout.
