Short Half Term break

Arrived on site in the dark (5.30pm). Pitches in places are incredibly cramped and because the pitch is not wide enough for car, caravan and awning cars tend to be parked anywhere there is a gap making the site seem cluttered. My caravan developed a fault with the charger and the wardens really were superb, couldn't be more helpful. All in all, cluttered site, lots of road noise but really well positioned to walk into the town.

October Half Term Break

We arrived to the site to find that for some reason our booking was for Cirencester (2 bookings so definitely a blip) not here, a computer blip as I have an email confirming my booking here. The lovely warden was so welcoming and helpful and assured us that there was space for us and that she would cancel the Cirencester for us.  Such a different experience to our stay a few years ago when the wardens were far less helpful and friendly.  Many thanks for being so welcoming, helpful and happy.  We all had a lovely, relaxing stay. Our only small issue was that the showers weren't very warm.

Lovely Location

This is a lovely site. The town is a short walk away. Buses to many Cotswolds villages and further a field towns. The wardens very friendly and helpful. The only downside to our visit was a dog barking waking us at 7.15 a.m. every morning and barking when we were around the site. In fact someone else on an earlier review has mentioned pitch 37 and we were in that area. I do feel that the wardens not only on this site but all sites should ask the irresponsible dog owners to leave the site. It is not fair to responsible dog owners and non dog owners!

Beautiful Cotswolds

Very well looked after site, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard; plus an excellent playground for the little ones (well away from the pitches so the children could enjoy themselves without bothering others). We asked to stay another night (it was half term and completely full) and the friendly and helpful staff couldn’t have been more helpful, informing us when there was luckily an unexpected, short notice cancellation. A lovely site with a delightful and nearby small town, surrounded by the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

Great stay (again)

This is a lovely site we booked for one night 27/10/15 as a stopover when returning from London and enjoyed it so much we stayed for two. There is a lovely play area for the children and a big field for our dog. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were immaculate. The town is only five minutes walk away and we can recommend 'Tilleys' Tea room dogs are welcome and the food is wonderful. The only downside to our stay was the irresponsible dog owners on pitch 37 who went out and left their dog alone all day, it never stopped barking the whole time causing a lot of concern from neighbouring campers. We will definitely be back (probably next week if the grandchildren will let us).

It only gets better!!

This was our fourth visit to Moreton over the years, it is a lovely site and location, lots to see and do in the area.  The facilities were lovely as ever. our pitch was at the back of the site, No 40, very quiet with little or no road noise. we thoroughly enjoyed our week. Looking forward to number five.

Wonderful Cotswold

First time at a Caravan Club site. Beautiful park and area's to stand caravan . Internet was quick although we needed to log in numerous times during the day. Only problem is poor reception for TV reminded by purchasing a £15.00 cable to plug into site. Once done TV worked fine.

A site with that extra something

This was our first visit & sadly was just for the one night but wow what a beautiful place. The reception on arrival was very friendly & helpful,  the site was busy & having spent a very noisy night in baltic wharf, we wanted a quiet pitch. We were not disappointed - a pitch was suggested and proved to be perfect. All the facilities were clean, tidy & provided all we needed and more. A real surprise was the visit from Alfresco Pizzas that evening, so no cooking for us & our two teenagers were extremely happy! The next morning we popped down to reception to buy  a paper & were delighted to find we could also purchase warm, fresh baked baguettes - perfect.  This is a site we will definitely revisit & for  longer stay next time. Thank you.

Trees and site lighting

A good location, we've been coming here for 20 years now. The only problem is that the oldest part of the site has trees that need pruning, they are making the pitches shady and when you have a wet night the constant dripping water on the caravan roof from the trees keeps you awake. Also it will make things easier for the Wardens if they are cut back who have to clear up the many leaves. Also the site lighting is poor, in winter you need a torch to walk around the site at night.
