Great site

We stay here once or twice a year and everything is spot on. Wardens great and friendly, good dog run, good facilities and a pleasant walk into town. Only slight down side is poor internet as it only seems to be about 1mbps which for the cost is not really acceptable.

Another relaxing stay

Always feel like we are home when we visit morton. Staff are so approachable and friendly. We stay a week after the Easter break, the site was very busy which is not surprising as its such a lovely site and so handy for a base whilst visiting the surrounding areas. We have two Westies and this site is excellent for them as the dog field lets them run free without the worry of them escaping. Another great stay thank you to the wardens for keeping the site so clean and for the warm welcome.

Good base for sightseeing

We stayed for 5 nights in Easter school holidays. Whilst there we had some rain, unfortunately our pitch ( and quite a few others) were waterlogged. As the road on the site is very uneven this was totally waterlogged too with huge puddles! As obviously the British weather is not the sites problem, I feel they need to do some maintaining of their pitches. Maybe as it's the beginning of the season and wet weather is a given they do not do this till further into the season? The children's park area and dog walking area( big fields) were also totally waterlogged they didn't get much use even when the sun was shining. I expect this site in the summer months is lovely. The toilet blocks also weren't as clean as others we have been to..although maybe I was just unlucky the times I went in. Brilliant base though to get to other places from, lovely part of the country. Staff as always for a caravan club site were lovely and friendly.

Site is in a good location - easy access to the Cotswolds. Toilets very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant dog walk nearby to Batsford and easily walkable to Moreton in Marsh.

Moreton in the Marsh

Great site in a great location, toilets kept very clean by hard working wardens who must be heartbroken every time they walk around the site and see the mess left by people who can't seem to drive without churning up the grass! The pitches are a good size and with a little care should be easy to get on and off but nearly every one had tyre marks where people had driven over, either to get on or off the pitch or often just parking their cars.

Another Lovely Stay at Moreton-In-Marsh

Just returned from a lovely four days at one of our favorite sites. Wardens very friendly and helpful as usual and facilities just as you would expect from a club site. The wet weather has certainly caused major damage to the pitch sidings not helped either by people driving over the grass. We did find this time where we were situated was very dark at night: suggest you take a torch if out late. Great location for getting out and about to explore the Cotswolds. Excellent town market on a Tuesday and plenty of good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Look forward to visiting again later in the summer.

Excellent location

Ideal location for us motorhomers as it is Situated on the edge of this small Cotswold town, with plenty of choice for provisions, places to eat and drink.  Nice walk across the fields to the falconry centre, garden centre and arboretum at Batsford, the club should consider putting in a gate to allow direct access the public right of way, which is well used and clearly signposted.
