Went to this site as it is close to where I live and just wanted to check out the caravan club sites as I have not been caravaning for long 2nd trip out,the site is very well managed and maintained only gripe was some caravan owners churned the grass up on the corners of some of the pitches frustrating for the wardens other that this and a barking dog at 7am in the mornings waking us up the site is very nice close to the town with good facilities, the toilets and shower blocks were spotlessly clean ample hot water credit to the cleaners. There was loads too do and see some great walks straight out of the site and dog friendly, batsford arboureatam was well worth a visit.so will we go back yes we will.
Great location small pitches
This site is in a fantastic position being able to walk into the town is a plus. The facilities are modern and very clean, there is a good play area for the kids and a good dog walk area for the four legged friends.
The big down point are the size of the pitches which are only big enough for a caravan porch awning and car, if you have a full awning you have to put your car across the front of the pitch, not ideal
Good Site
Our second visit to this site and it won't be the last. The facilities were very clean and the wardens friendly and helpful.
The pitches are a bit on the narrow side which makes life difficult for the caravanners hence the churned up and rutted verges
Plenty of decent eateries in Moreton,we especially enjoy ASK ITALIAN,if you can, print off discount vouchers from voucher code for a good discount there. We've also enjoyed good food at THE SWAN pub near the site.
There are buses from the CORN EXCHANGE to STRATFORD,STOW,CHELTENHAM AND BROADWAY.
Oh,and don't forget the mobile pizza oven that visits the site on Tuesday and Friday.Excellent.
Moreton in Marsh
Excellent site and excellent staff! Bent over backwards to assist with an issue we had! Will definitely return!

nice site
We were only there for one night, but found it very good. Facilities very good, lovely hot showers. Pitch was level and well serviced. Site very convenient to local shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Will definitely be back.
Not what expected
First time to this site and sorry to say we won't be returning. When we driving round to find a pitch it was so apparent that there's not enough room for a caravan, awning and car to be parked. The pitches are so close and narrow its like being in a goldfish bowl, and with it being wet it was so muddy round your pitch.Could do with better lighting after dark and also the pitches need upgrading. On the plus side it's very convenient to walk into town and to travel to surrounding places.
Poor design
Stayed here for a recent weekend.
In nearly forty years I have not seen a site so badly designed, The pitches are so narrow that it is not possible to site car, caravan, awning side by side thus most of the cars were parked at the side of the roadway. I have a small motorhome but found some difficulty in parking when I returned to the site.
The ambience was like living in a car park. Not pleasant at all.
Dog walk, appreciate that the weather has been wet but surely something could be done about the entrance which was so boggy I didn't use it, nor did many others.
I won't be returning.
Note, staff cheerful and friendly.
Report
Been to this site many times. Wardens not as friendly as those last year.
Wet week away, which meant some vehicles made a mess of the grass verge on site. Unsupervised children hanging around the toilet blocks at night.
Good dog run but take your wellies. We still had fun exploring our usual haunts. Local chippy still great. The swan pub has good meals and is very dog friendly. Tuesday market worth a look.
Only average
We visited this site twice in the last couple of weeks en route to Cornwall. We stopped here around 17 years ago and really liked the site so decided to break our journey again. I'm afraid we won't be again and will seek out an alternative in the area. The biggest issue was the hard standings which we requested for both stays. The weather was wet so we felt this would go some way to avoiding muddy boots. Sadly not, the standings we had and others are just not up to the job. Small pea gravel which clearly needs replacing is not a suitable surface if you want to keep the mud at bay. The hard standings on the (privately owned) site we stayed on in Cornwall were much better, large amounts of heavy gravel and still suitable for an awning. The toilet blocks are jaded (not unclean) and clearly due an upgrade soon (or I hope they are). The wardens as ever though were very helpful and accommodating, but I can't recommend this particular site until the issues of the hard standing and toilet block are addressed.
