trees

This wasn't originally a woodland site, but it is now due to lack of tree maintenance.  We had a sleepless night as we were pitched under a dripping tree. Also the tv aerial system is rubbish, no wonder as the site aerial is hidden within taller trees. The hardstanding pitches need stoning up, on a wet day its like stepping onto wet cement. One of the wardens decided to mow at 4pm  on the sit on mower just as the sun came out and members were sitting out relaxing, he  made members move, he cleared off at 4.50 presumably for his tea, have some sense Wardens, don't forget whose Club it is.

More of Moreton

Have visited this site several time, attracted by the surrounding area and the ease of access into Moreton on the pavement. It's a busy site, and some areas can become a bit "crowded" so choose your pitch carefully. There are plenty of good pitches, if spaces are available. We extended our September stay on site to 9 nights, with helpful assistance from one of the female wardens..many thanks ! Usual high standards of management we expect from CC. One gripe.....why the need to unplug electrics to cut grass at breakfast time ? That put paid to our breakfast cup and toast, without as much as a buy your leave ! All that was needed was to move the cable a metre to the side !! We will use the site again, but probably best during the quieter? periods.

Got Lost!

We arrived here having been at Broadway previously, not a long drive, but still received a wonderful friendly reception.  Got told to pick a spot, we managed to get lost on the site!  Eventually found a pleasant spot that was only disturbed by a few noisy sheep! Plenty of cycling to be had in the area and with a bus stop right outside the main gate no excuses for not getting about.  Went to Stow and Bourton on the bus and also cycled in the local area away from the traffic along some very quiet lanes. A great play area for the kids and a good walk around the large site after tea! A bit like Broadway, we'll be back!

Better Than Expected

Lovely clean site, plenty of space, we were told to choose your own and found a brilliant space, with the normal hook up plus TV conection as well. Only stayed one night but wished it could have been more. Will return for sure. First time Motorhomer from Somerset.

Excellent Location

Stayed here for a second time, in ideal location. Lots of interesting places to visit as well as the village close by for shops and pubs. Site is clean and well looked after, pitches are a bit tight and can be close together if very busy. We had issues with TV reception as they had a faulty aerial but assume that will be fixed soon.

Life-changing

This it the best, we have been coming here for 21years since my son was just 3 weeks old. There is nothing to compare with a walk into Moreton after pitching, and maybe a pint or two at one of the local pubs. So relaxing and completely life changing, I would recommend it to any one with a stressful job!..

Nice, Clean, Well situated site.

We were here for a bank holiday weekend and found it very well situated to visit most places of interest in the Cotswold region. The site is very well maintained and really clean! Upon arrival we had a hiccup with our water pump connection retainer breaking- the staff came and helped get it sorted! Recommended a caravan shop to us and were really helpful! We tried the pizza night but were disappointed in the cost of it and the quality. (That was our only complaint). Nice dog walk area, good playground for children, nice walks and cycle friendly. Pub is a close 10 minute walk from the site. There were not lots of (screaming demons) running wild as we have experienced at some sites. it was really relaxing! Definitely enjoyed it very much!
